Looks like this has been building up for quite a while and the GB have got used to getting away with behaving however the * they like.

The club can only hold off for so long turning a blind eye, they're obviously under heavy scrutiny.

High time both sides had a sit down to come to some sort of compromise.

Banners and flags that relate to or are connected with terrorist organisations in the Middle East? What flags and or banners would that be?

What about the copious other issues in the email, any opinion on those?

Hamas are designated as a proscribed terrorist organisation in the UK and the EU.

I mean unless you expect the club to put themselves in bother by suggesting otherwise.. I'm not sure what you would expect them to say.

They’ve gave the board enough rope to string them up and it’s no surprise that’s exactly what’s happened.

OK, so the full statement gives the detail required..

Tbh, the banner was the main thing for me, which as been discussed. They definitely need to play it smarter tho..

Wonder if the GB will respond..

I’ll wait until I see the response before making a judgement on that. What flags are linked to terrorist organisations though?

    Ha, aye I know.

Has there been a Hamas flag flown? That’s more what I was getting at.

Could see this coming when there was talk of forcing fire exits and overcrowding at the end of last month, honestly don't think the board really give much of a * about what flags/banners people fly 90% of the time it's good for the atmosphere and ads a bit of colour to the stadium (though the 'resistance' one was poorly judged) but they're always going to take safety related stuff seriously when the police/council are involved.

No doubt you'll produce some mad chicanery to avoid and sort of criticism of the neds in question :giggle2:

The banner was easy to construe as support for Hamas, I know you disagree. Am sure there was a flag that day aswell with Arabic writing, can't remember now what the translation was, but I remember thinking that was also a bit dodgy.

Tip of the iceberg though, these wee fannies have pushing their luck for a long time and they will need to have a rethink of their strategies.

Pyro is consistently used even after countless times lf being told stop it. That alone is probably enough.

Here....I think the GB do an amazing job and do so much in terms of showing why this club was founded.

My only gripe, as I've said several times, is just be smarter in how you want to convey a message. It's not difficult and there are too many times where there has been displays/messages that are intentionally made to be controversial and ott.
Instead of getting the point across they're being counter productive and for me it's for their own gratification.

A Tory board who have a problem with a number things

Offensive anti racist banners against ultras are scumbags

Flags showing solidarity with people of Palestine

Basically blaming the GB for poor policing at ER

Individuals who sit in the boardroom are out of touch * rats

We always say no player is bigger than the club and no supporters group is bigger than the club and hopefully it's time for cool heads and we really don't need all this as we have a league to win .
I am no lover of the board as I detest the * but the GB have had enough rope now to hang themselves.
