Would love to see the amount of ground he covered last night. Must be close to some kind of record.

I always thought this about Samaras and Paddy McCourt. They was just something missing stopping them being top class players.

Imagine Daizen could dribble like McCourt or McCourt could run like Daizen. Wow

I honestly have zero worries when he plays in Europe or against the Huns, he's almost guaranteed to put in a solid shift.

This is the thing with him, he is extremely important playing teams who don’t have 10 men behind the ball.

He tried to play the ball to Kyogo and it went through to Palma. Great effort from him last night though. Some shift he put in.

Desire to stay fit/actually be fit for Paddy, great dribbler but he's overrated by some

An impossible thing to suggest. However, his run and ball across led to the goal whether you’ve made up in your own head that he meant it or not.

Just an awesome player for us. Apart from his final ball at times, ticks most boxes.
    Just love his temperament too.

Aye, it’s a weird one where he thrives in those big games but fairly regularly struggles to make a real impact against the run of the mill Scottish Premiership teams.

Might be my memory failing me but that’s the first time I remember seeing him absolutely burst. Some effort.

I'd trust him to give Man City a tougher game than Ross County, he's an engima.

I still don't think we've seen maeda sprint at 100%....or maybe it's just his posture.haha.
    But great engine to have.

Last night his running was giving them all sorts of trouble and he ended up totally done in

Quicker top speed than alphonso Davies. Some going. He put in some shift last night, wouldn’t mind if he was rested for Saturday

I missed the game yesterday and haven't seen the highlights yet. Did he miss a good chance? Was just reading a write up.

I woukdnt say he missed a good chance per se, more Marshall smothered it really well. Good save more than a bad miss.

He was really pish though. Very negative on the ball. Contributed very little before being subbed.

I think he played to his ability yesterday, never beat a man, poor touch, gave nothing to the game because he was not asked to work to keep the opposition at bay. He’s a terrible footballer but runs like mad for hours, that’s all he has got.

He absolutely roasted that boy Cochrane last week. Did you see the shift he put in against AM ? Guy, like most of our team yesterday, looked absolutely out on their *. We should have made changes attacking wise earlier in the game. Our whole midfield and attack looked gubbed from the off.
