I've no problem with Brendan's comments at all. He'll know him well enough to judge him having worked with him before. More to the point, anyone can judge that he's not developed to our level and he's always * injured to boot. Why beat around the bush, get him moved on.

 

I think his injury (again) is awful bad luck. The boy is cursed it seems.

I am on record on this thread as not thinking the boy is good enough. I happen to think he just isn’t up to it. Last straw for me was when he was clean through to make it 2-0 in the league cup final and he fluffed it, that he was still here after that baffled me.

(Same way I think Haksabanovic doesn’t have it either - clean through and arsed it).

Regardless of his obvious flaws I don’t think he should be castigated for being injured. He should be allowed to keep his favourite treatment table though!

Came on for the last 20 mins last night for Ireland and was probably our best player yet again I’d say but most likely still won’t start again Monday. Hopefully he does or atleast gets more minutes, as he’s the only player in the squad who can actually beat a man and run at players, ogbene I suppose decent aswell

There’s no denying he’s a good player but he just doesn’t have the body for it. But aye a do agree that we should be able to afford him some games

 

He’s been at the centre of most of irelands attacks tbh him and mcgrath doing well. Good for him to get minutes under his belt hopefully brendan having a look. Even with palma starting games left and maeda right we could have Johnstone to come on for palma and Yang to come on for maeda… very good options off the bench domestically
