    I’ve never minded Spurs mostly cos I’ve never met a Spurs fan.

    As a football fan they’ve largely been entertaining on the pitch and entertaining when they eventually pull a ‘Spurs’ they’re like a larger version of Hibs.

    So that ambivalent on them that I’ve been following then under Ange to such an extent I feel like the * that joined this forum that have now fled

    One of my best mates is a Spuds fan, the very definition of a premier league fan, obnoxious, arrogant and only heard him talk * for the last ten years and hes a great wind up merchant, One of the main reasons I dislike spuds. Like you I would of liked them Growing up especially the early premier league years before it became the disgusting monster it is now.

    Also resentment plays apart.. Growing up Celtic were so much bigger and better than spuds in everyway.. now they've left us behind, like most clubs down there

    Anyways though, shows his history with a "connection" to the club long before we heard of him, he certainly knew all about us.

    It's a real shame he left when he did, but all respect to the big man. Glad he was here.

    Makes you laugh how when he was first linked to Spurs, all the chat was about how this isn't the Scottish League; the Premier League is unforgiving! It's hyper competitive, there are no easy games, everybody can beat everyone else.

    Now he's top of the league, it's changed to Spurs haven't played anyone and their fixtures have all been easy :giggle1:

    It's a long, long way to go. Noone wins anything in October, but you can't fault the start he has made down there. Top of the table, back to back manager of the month awards, and as for 'hasn't really played anyone' rubbish, Spurs have beaten ManU and Liverpool as well as drawn with Arsenal - 3 of the top 5 teams from last season.
