    Hamas aren’t the Palestinian leadership…

The Palestinian Authority is the legitimate leadership, Hamas control the Gaza Strip and hold some power in areas of the West Bank. They may hold massive power in Palestine but they have nothing to do with the actual legitimate government in Palestine.

Aye remember that, few of our fans really showed themselves up for how open to all and tolerant they really are, only when it suits them.

Don't see the need for anyone to be aiming any abuse at him right now, aside from just being born Israeli he's said/done nothing wrong as far as I can see.

If Abada ends up feeling the need to leave then I am going to be so * embarrassed.

What an utter shambles, I’ve never been more mortified off the park before.

    It’s embarrassing that it’s even a consideration.

I’m hopeful that he sees that the views of the GB on this matter are not reflected among the vast majority of our fanbase.

It would be very, very interesting we had an Israeli/Jewish version of Henrik Larsson on our books, be as is I have a feeling we wouldn’t hear nearly as many anti-Israeli views if we did.

That was dreadful when fans attacked him for not playing in a European game on a holy holiday, I think it was Yom Kippur, maybe Rom Hashoa.

Let's be honest green brigade often don't listen to anyone but themselves and the Palestinian flags and messages are going to keep coming in the next while, if he is on the park at any point and sees that it's going to affect his performance especially as this issue with him has now been publicised. He's a very young guy as well, can affect him differently to how Bitton just got on with it (despite airing his views after he left).

He's more than entitled to leave if it's affected him and if so we have lost a great player

Half the ones criticising him probably couldn't point to Israel on a map nor spell Palestine, just basic thinking and mob mentality we often criticise sevco for

What's the likelihood he's going to quit?

    Hope he stays though.

Yeah, I'd go the other way and say all this sporting exclusion of Russians is wrong.

Totally agree, the exclusion of Russian athletes from world sports is a total injustice. UK and US athletes should have been banned from world sport during the Iraq invasion if that’s the road we’re going down.

Honestly if he stays he would get booed everytime he plays for his country which no player would want to go through.
    * shame but the GB have made his situation unentiable imo.

There seems to be little substance to the rumours about him leaving.

Get King Charles to visit and see how open we are to ‘all’

It’s a slogan that has never been literal from supporters. However on the pitch? Aye probably true, signed IDF supporters like Bitton (one of the most succesful players in our history as well, weirdly) racist wee neddy * like Griffiths, a * scummy * like Tony Stokes (who I unashamedly loved as a player whilst he was here) and guys like Craig Gordon, who’s just a *.

So we do sign from all walks of life, there’s a lot of viewpoints that we don’t welcome as a fanbase and quite rightly, we’re not open to things that are anti-thesis of our club and what it was supposed to be. We’re so far away from that already but support tries to keep it alive

I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t select him at all whilst here now.

Boy should get a round of applause next time he steps on pitch for us. Important to cut through all the internet bullshit and stuff the rags are reporting. Guy's done and said nothing wrong, unfair the negative attention he's getting on him for something he can't control.

I imagine by the time he’s fit there’ll be about 5 stories * focus on removed from what’s happening over there just now. It won’t be over, won’t remotely be close to over, but in 3/4 months it won’t be in the news anymore with focus on it from general public

For what it’s worth, I don’t want him to quit. My comments yesterday were more directed at his Israeli team mate and the fact I’m sick of their hypocrisy.

I’ve liked him as a player from the second Ange brought him in.

Oh look, Mr Rangers is back. And just like his club, he supports Israel too. Not for ideological reasons of course, no, can't do that. rangers only support Israel because Celtic support the Palestinians, therefore rangers have to support the opposite. Sad really that rangers fans only support Israel to be anti Celtic. Grow a back bone lads
