What will hurt them more is being prevented from organising the big tifos. The big displays probably made up for a lot of their shenanigans in people's minds.

I don’t know if they’re * stupid at making the point their trying to make, and that’s what I think it is or if they’re genuinely controversy seeking wanks.

The statement they realised, I agree with every word but if they added in don’t agree with slaughter of innocents but won’t back down from support of the oppressed people of Palestine, whilst condemning Hamas revelling in slaughter with calls of genocide against Jewish people, rooted in fundamentalist Islamic extremism, whilst the leaders of them are swanning about mansions in Iran cushty as *.

The banner celebrating ‘resistance’ is wee dicks, because that’s not resistance that happened with the attack from Hamas. It’s revenge and getting them a bit back whilst they had a chance, with regular people not Zionist government, and it has ultimately resulted in giving a reason for Israel to genocide rather than just apartheid and creeping up to genocide.

Gaza’s * now, already is days after. They won’t survive this, and Israel has international sympathy to be able to get away with wiping the rest out, that they’ve only been sneakily and taking their time to do. Now it’s scorched earth

BR’s return and us getting knocked out a league cup shortly after split us more tbf. Fans online being * off at Green Brigade won’t make a difference, cos nobody but that section of Parkhead makes a noise anyway, and when we do, they lead it.

Except ‘The Bhoys’ who try there best to sing something that GB’s no singing awredy and want to be more extreme than GB, as far as I understand the * argument between them

just on your definition of 3rd ,would you consider heavily armed settlers innocent bystanders ,as i was reading yesterday of settlers shooting dead two palestinians it made me ponder how many of thoes killed the other day fall into that category .given the location id guess a * of a lot of them . israel arm the settlers to the teeth for the very situation that occured the civilians are given their homes for nothing because they are in harms way as they are on stolen land and they are the first line of defence .that doesnt make hamas right its just the way a * up situation plays out

Couldn’t have put it better myself.

I have issue with the word “victory” on the day innocents where basically massacred. There is no victory here as the poor people of Palestine will suffer even more now and Israel will get away with it.

How is there not a split? Any time something happens with the GB it causes * between the fans who back them and those who back the board.

I’ve made my feelings clear on how I feel about the recent *, but I still back the GB over an out of touch Tory board.

Amazes me that more people can’t see this. I think one of the more disheartening aspects of it for me personally wasn’t just how disgusting I found it given the death of children etc, but it felt very much like petty point scoring.

Make no mistake, it does absolutely nothing to further the just cause of a free Palestinian state, has turned a significant amount of support against them, and will lead to the most * campaign against the people of Palestine in decades.

It felt absolutely all about controversy, and ‘revenge’ as opposed to the actual issue of the Palestinian people and their future.

Many times i don't agree with the GB and see them a bit of *, but in this case they are 100% correct. * Israel and everyone who don't take a stand against them.

Most fans came around to BR’s return pretty quickly mate, myself included, and I was a pretty vocal on how I felt about him.

There’s a large section of the support that have wanted rid of the GB for their political views for a good while, and they’re no just online. When * like this happens they come out the woodwork and use it as an opportunity to attack the ultras groups en masse. I’d hate to see CP without the groups.

Also I was of the understanding the GB and The Bhoys were sort of neutral on each other now. Could be wrong, but The Bhoys have came out in support of the GB numerous times.

Not that it has any relevance to the current situation (the attacks were inside Israel proper) but FWIW I would take them on a case by case basis.

    * knows to be fair, I’ve not made a game since early doors Ange, and The Bhoys were at it at that point, I don’t keep up with the drama :56:

aw naw a agree with you with the loads of fans against the politics of them etc. but I was meaning, you don’t hear them at games. They don’t contribute to the atmosphere in general.

When GB’s not been at Parkhead, the silence is * awkward. Only noise you hear are groans at a back pass.

I think that's because people are used to GB leading the chants though. It used to be the case the singing was more spontaneous, but you can't really get anything going when there's one section determined to sing a certain songbook throughout the game. If the ultras were gone, you'd see the crowd start things up more themselves after a wee while.

    * my first reply there…

But you really wouldn’t. A large section of our support don’t care about the atmosphere.

In the old days when things were organic, you used to get a lot of the same chants and songs repeated over and over like they do down south. I think a lot of the younger people would be amazed to hear 'the Celtic Song' multiple times per game, for example and equally, I honestly can't ever remember hearing 'Celtic Symphony' at CP. I love how many great songs the group gets through nowadays (although I wish they would sing 'the Fields of Athenry' more, I used to hear that most games).

There were also many of the same tensions as now. I remember sometimes seeing small groups of friends singing songs (presumably political songs like BOTOB, but I didn't know them at the time so I can't say for sure) and some people around them grumbling and giving them looks.

Still an arrogant * * eh

You would end with a sore face if you spoke to someone in the pub the way you speak to folk on here.

There is a danger that often the GB distract from the football and make it about them, or what ever they are protesting. I often agree with much of what they say but at times they can be very abrasive in their protests.

You can spot them a mile away. Folk who hadn’t commented a thing on the issue, but chose to come on this thread to talk about what the GB had up on a banner. As if that’s the main talking point in all this.
