He’s a good player and only 24.

Baffling to me he threw his toys out the pram so quickly this season.

He would’ve had plenty of game time.

Liked him, defo had the ability, the application was another question though.

Plenty players failed up here and went down to the dross down there and done well. Think they can come to Scotland and take it easy and absolutely crumble under the standards and pressure at a massive club like us.

 

He would've been so much better at number 10 don't get why we never tried it for a period of time

 

Can't doubt his ability, it's just that sometimes he was like a man down defensively. Lost Tavpen twice in the 3-2 game. Thankfully he missed one of his chances.

No 10 may have suited him better as others said.

 

Apparently they’ve won 1 in 6 and he’s started only 3 games, I don’t think we’re missing out on much lads

 

His issue was we haven’t really played with a number 10 since the early Lennon days maybe even Rodgers first spell.

He never really fit in here and never will so it’s better for all parties that he goes elsewhere.

 

Do doubt his ability. Looked great at the start in cameos but never saw anything substantial from him when he played a full (or close to) game for us. Waste of a place. Actually thought he was a player.

Great he's doing well elsewhere for him and us, but hopefully that just means a more decent price, not a return.

Annoyingly for me, guy had played his way in to start against the Huns when he posted on Insta in a wee huff and he has the talent and bite to be a player here. But as soon as he does that, BR will have him away instantly.

When we were desperate for creativity BR was turning to him, and he’d showed enough to be the starter then he * it himself. He’s a huffy wee *, you could see that in him on the pitch.

 

Not 100% accurate this, he was starting games and got POTM then we stopped for the WC. First game back he got a knock, missed 2/3 games. Jota and Maeda were on fire and he never had a chance again, felt like a guy we were choking to get to preseason and fit, Ange left, he went in a huff with BR making him prove his ability. And that attitude is a goner.
