*Israel is real aye!

 

I’ll treat him with the contempt he deserves in all honesty. He held the same beliefs prior to what happened at the weekend clearly. So he is part of the problem. The fact he is now asking what land has Israel stolen tells us that he clearly feels what Israel has done over the decades is fine and they are justified in slaughtering Palestinians.

Any decent human being can clearly see what Israel has done and the atrocities it has committed is disgraceful. As is kidnapping and killing innocent civilians at a music festival. Don’t go preaching about one though when you are quite happy to see it happen the other way round.

He is a mature *, not a little kid. If he doesn’t know why he is wrong by now, he isn’t ever going to. I’ve no doubt he will be cheering on the bombardment that the Palestinians are currently facing from his fellow countrymen.

 

Now I wonder how Abada feels about all this.

I ignored it because I had already stated above that this attitude towards a former Celtic player, or almost any human being actually, is not justified by any of that.*

At the end of the day, what are you bringing into the world? If you are communicating from that place of self-righteous moral indignation, you can have every fact right and you will only make things worse. At best you can move suffering around from one place to another and at worst, you end up adding to the suffering.



* It shouldn't need to be said; but to be clear, I would never criticise any Palestinians for having that attitude, that would be totally different and completely understandable.

I don’t agree with this guy politics at all and he’s a big friend of Putin as far as I’m aware, but this is spot on …

 

I think it's cynical and opportunistic. Who is he addressing here? If he's addressing western countries, the last 2 sentences make no sense. If he's addressing the global south, they're overwhelmingly well aware already. It also seems to imply that Israel and its supporters are the only villains of the piece and ignores the role that other countries in the region and Hamas themselves have played in the suffering of the people of Palestine.
