He’s not even played 90 minutes of football this season, he came on in the 88th minute you absolute weirdo.

If CalMac, O’Riley, Kyogo, CCV got that amount of time in a game they are going to have moments where you think *?

It’s such a small sample size. No person with a functioning braincell is going to judge him for that.

He came on against Lazio and showed excellent forward play. Winning us free kicks in dangerous positions.

He had 1.08 goals per 90 last season. That’s 99th percentile. His defensive work was also far higher than Kyogo. Yet he still had more shots per 90. So he’s doing both jobs.

Is he better than Kyogo? No. He’s like a Kyogo, Maeda hybrid. He’s far from *, he’s far from useless. He needs games now, he showed it last season. The numbers are as clear as day.

“aYe BuT tHiS oNe LaY oFf”.

    * up.

I think he has something, but he'll never show it or realise any potential he has unless he's given significant game time, which isn't going to happen here.

It's an awkward situation for him to be in. I do feel sorry for him. Just can't see it working out unless Kyogo gets injured and he really takes his chance.

I don't know why we don't tinker the formation a bit, surely we can play with two up top at times, or even have him coming off the LW similar to how Samaras was used.

And why do you think he's now getting 2 mins?

Last season is gone, new manager and he's being judged on what Rodgers has seen so far and it's been poor, hence his continued reduction in minutes.

He won't get the minutes that you believe is gonna make him some fantastic player bcoz the drop off in Kyogo to him is huge to the point where Kyogo is playing far more minutes than he did last season. Why? Because again.... Oh has been poor all season.

If you want to go back to last season and you want to talk about him getting starts, how about ibrox in may? A performance so bad that Ange even called him out on it. In his 2 years here I don't remember him singling out any other player for criticism. That's how bad he was.

As long as kyogo stays fit between now and January, Oh won't get the minutes you think he needs, frankly based on this season he doesn't deserve them anyway. We will 100% go and sign a striker bcoz again I don't think Rodgers rates him and then he will be 3rd/4th choice and his time here will likely be up.

You're saying the sample size is too small to judge him as a poor player, but you're using that same sample to judge him as a good prospect. Your logic makes no sense, you're dismissing poor lay-offs as irrelevant and then acting like winning free kicks tells us all we need to know. As for being a Kyogo/Maeda hybrid, I can't begin to imagine what that means.

I'll agree he needs more opportunity to show us what he can do. But I'm a little sceptical as to why he hasn't been granted that, especially in games like today's where Kyogo was clearly frustrated and could have come off at 60 minutes if we're all honest. Get a second striker in in January and send him away on loan, he's not contributing or developing sitting on our bench.

So you’re guessing now about what’s happening behind closed doors in training?

I’d assume he came on later today because the game wasn’t secured until the 82nd minute. Who knows. It’s irrelevant. Because you don’t know and neither do I.

I don’t think he’s some “fantasic player”. Nobody said that. Don’t just make * up. He was getting 30 mins a game last season and he’s getting 15 this year. It’s absolutely pointless. You’re seeing out a game at 15 minutes you’re not getting into it.

I gave you actual stats that showed he’s got plenty about him. You’ve picked one game. Ange didn’t “call him out”. More lies. He commented on a missed chance. Said Kyogo misses chances and bounces back. Nothing more, nothing less. Our managers don’t throw players under the bus. Another lie.

We will sign another striker because we have 2 and we need 3. Maeda can play there but he clearly won’t be. Its nothing to do with Oh and its simply playing with 1 striker and that one striker being our talisman.

Oh isn’t *. His numbers prove that. This season he is simply a victim of low minutes, a different system and seeing out games. It’s ok that you don’t understand that.

I guarantee yous if he gets a run of games, and things go his way on the pitch, he will be a monster for us. What he's showing just now aint a fair reflection of his capabilities.

    Two accounts?

You’re comparing 85 minutes to 600 minutes? How is that the same sample size? 30 mins per appearance to 15. Its night and day.

The reason I’ve commented on the Lazio game is because you * were silent days ago when he was being effective. One bad lay off and he’s done? Its genuinely mental.

The Kyogo Maeda comment is simply the fact that he showed last season he will press and track back (numbers show that) but he’s also getting chances, he has both sides to his game (numbers show that).

Him not developing or contributing sitting on the bench isn’t his fault. Funny how he developed and contributed under Ange in a sample size 6 times bigger than this one. It’s a new system, it’s not all out attack. He isn’t going to come in to games and get chances.

I don’t need to post the actual numbers again. They are solid and they tell far far more than some * on his sofa watching going “he’s *”.

Btw I don’t want to be a total stats merchant as I have been in this in the Maeda thread. But I find it really * interesting.

Oh has had 1 shot all season.

    But. His defensive stats before today are;

    70 Mins
    18 Ground Duels
    7 Ground Duels Won
    5 Aerial Duels Won

    In comparison, Kyogo

    636 Mins
    17 Ground Duels
    6 Ground Duels Won
    1 Aerial Duel Won

He is CLEARLY coming in to do a different job than Kyogo and close games.

I don’t agree with it, but it’s something very different to Ange who is just like for like and play the way we play.

Point to where I mentioned anything about training? Just making * up aye? Although if he was doing well in training do you not think he'd be getting more than 2 mins?

Why is he a victim of low minutes then in your expert opinion?

Think the big man will come good, giakomakis got pelters for first half of the season, looked cumbersome slow and bereft of confidence, got a wee run when kyogo got injured, once he banged in a few goals, got his confidence up, he was flying, people were actually split on who they wanted to start when kyogo came back, no easy a big guy that age coming to a totally different culture, trying to settle, people to quick to write people off

Never said anything but a lot of people saying they would drop hatate, granted he came back from injury and had a few poor game s , just needed to get back up to speed and get his confidence back, dropping him would just have the opposite effect, can’t be arsed with turnbull starting far better with mcgregor, oriley and hatate especially when there all firing

Maybe have to see vata in a first team game rather than a colts game before we think about putting oh out on loan, it’s a big step,Cameron harper was a star in the colts team, played for the first team was like a rabbit in headlights, looked like he wanted his mum, and could tell he just wanted subbed, a few weeks later he was offski back to America

I agree Lewis, loved when we played with a big guy wee guy up front, Sutton using his strength to lay it off to henrik and henrik also setting the big man up aswell, even strachan did it with hesselink and McDonald and that was a good partnership aswell,

You mentioned Rodgers judging him on what he’s seen so far. You don’t see everything, assumed you included training, you also don’t read Rodgers mind.

He’s a victim of low minutes because he was producing with more minutes last year you thick *.

Shut up ya fud. Called a Celtic player * with absolutely nothing to back it up when the majority of the forum is saying he has something.

I’ve posted my thoughts, I’ve posted numbers to back up my thoughts. Away you go ya negative little rat. Take your second account with you.
