    Plenty Israeli’s know the history and are embarrassed by their actions over the last 50 odd years. Bitton can away and take a flying * at himself.     The videos I’ve seen today from the Palestinian side are * horrific. However, I support the normal Palestinian people, not Hamas. Israel have been doing the same for 5 decades.

    I actually started liking him again before he left but he can take a * to himself the Zionist rat. He’d be * all without Celtic.

    That’s bullshit.

    When you’ve got our legends accepting MBE honours and most fans voting Unionist Labour for years etc it’s just stupid to suggest that we’re all the same when it comes to politics.

    A lot of our older support are conservative Catholics and never signed up for all the rainbow stuff either.

    You know what I mean anyway. He knows there's a large section of rhe support who've shown this kind of protest before. When he was sitting in the stadium or even on the pitch.

    Then moans saying to calm down. He's smart enough to know the reactions that's gonna get when 80% of his followers are celtic supporters.

    Anyway, part of the reason I try and stay away from this stuff. It's a horrible situation with innocent people dying both sides.

    See, if he done what Abada done, where it was a very simple message to Isreal, I think the more rational fans would take a step back and realise the situation.

    For me, it's the fact Bitton has the audacity to call out the club who, since he signed, showed support and solidarity towards Palestine during multiple matches, one of which was against an Israeli club.

    All he has to do is show support to his country, and I doubt this thread would have even been bumped tbh, I get that he wasn't actually a legend or even a cult hero for us, but he's easily ruined his reputation for me with our fans.

    Aye the middle paragraph is what I mean. He posted stories whilst a player but never went to this level in terms of paragraphs of text etc.

    Now he's nowhere near Glasgow he comes out with it and then moans when a reaction is given.
