Could not disagree more mate. We show it in spells that we have the ability and mentality to challenge these types of teams, even beat them when things go well for us.

Obviously we all want higher quality players in every position, always, but putting that on the back burner....we still were good enough to get a win tonight. It's just so * lazy, pathetic, embarrassing to keep moaning about transfer windows and boardroom deficiencies.

Take some * pride in your team. We have good players, who blatantly showed tonight that they have what it takes to hurt teams like Lazio. But absolutely shat themselves for the most part.

Don't know mate, better players comes with better mentality and confidence along with skill. We showed in spells last night we can compete at this level but over 90 minutes and a group we are nowhere near it. That's down to the players we have and sign.

Our European record for the last 20 years is absolutely pathetic, we have one of the worst champions league records now, that is not just a complex, we are inferior. Again that's Down to the players we have and sign.

There is absolutely no expectation in Europe its just hope and I've run out of it, nothing to do with pride in our club, that's never in doubt, fans and players give their all, its the hierarchy that lets us down. So deflating

Yang and Maeda on the wings one backed up by Taylor Says it all mate.. absolutey no chance at this level

Could do with having a physical presence for these games. We miss having a Sutton, Hartson, JVOH, Wanyama, even Dembele to cause havoc from set plays, or hold onto possession.

We are not going to outplay most teams in the CL, so I would like us to mix it up a bit, if we sign the right players.

Get players at Champions league level. The domestic takes care of itself then.
In Champions league every year after that

i dont think there is any getting away from the fact we have been pish this season ,im under no illusion that you dont have to grind out results occasionally to win the league but the slow side to side pish is killing any attacking threat we have .its far too easy for opposition defenders id be amazed if we have had more than 30 shots on goal this season from what 10 games, we wont score and win if we aint creating chances. we have zero threat from scoring from a free kick/corner and the harsh reality is we have * all on either wing .i have no doubt ange with jota on hand would of had us 6 pts from thoes two games rodgers would need to get his finger out sharpish

They were there for the taking last night still can’t believe we * that up. Never heard the ground so quiet as when they scored in injury time the whole place was in shock.

Was impressed with Mcgregor, O’Riley & Scales. Johnstone was fairly solid and Kyogo took his goal well. CCV is obviously just back but we know what he’s capable of.

The rest definitely don’t cut it at this level

What makes you think ange would have 6 points considering he had 2 seasons in Europe with an even easier group last year and never managed it? Stop reinventing the past. He was also found out in Europe. No he wouldnt havr had jota either so lets take that dream away that ange would've magic'd a jota out his * for last night and be sitting on 6 points when he got us pumped by bobo with that very player? More likely we'd had lost by more with his outright dangerous attacking play.

So now you'll find it's nothing to do with the manager. Both have set us up to win. The projects we get signed by the board are what the problem is.

We absolutely can't be playing a cheap knock-off of Man City or Barcelona's style and expect it to work. But most of our managers absolutely insist on doing just that.

Didn't think Rodgers tactics were a problem, it's just individual errors let us down all the time. Was no different under Ange either. We give cheap goals away and fluff huge chances in games.

We are nowhere near ruthless enough at either end of the park.

Also go to be fair but last night we was a meada baw hair away from being 2-1 up and then shutting up shop. We kept pushing. At the 90 we should have just played for the draw.

Yep.. too.much * about at the back and it doesn't help its Maeda, Yang and Rio who's been as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike this season that's recieving the ball from them.

As i said we are at least 4 first team players and an entire squad off this level.

Ironically, playing for the win could have been done in a defensively safe way.

Punt the ball forward and let the front three chase. If say, Oh holds it up, an attack can develop. Instead, we faff about.

The front 3 that's scored a goal of meadas * between them this season? I can see why the others needed involved.

It’s not though. Because all through the summer window, especially in the final few weeks, plenty including myself were saying that this would be the outcome in Europe due to our lack of ambition. Results like last night is just the chickens coming home to roost.

If we win the league and get automatic qualification next season, unless our board show some ambition instead of being happy to sit with an absolute fortune in the bank, results like last night will just continue to happen. It’s the same story year after year. If you don’t give yourself the best chance to be successful, and we certainly don’t due to our board, it’s no great surprise when we are turned over by bang average teams. Cause that’s what that Lazio team was, bang * average. Still walked away with the points though.

Still, the ball would be in Lazio's half, and they would be under pressure.

I don't understand this DD lad mate. Seems hard-core Celtic but is happy with the bullshit the board feed him. Last night he was bemoaning that are players are * but then defends the recruitment strategy and says its lazy to blame that. What else is there to * blame? I just don't get it
