He is starting to look happier - really want him backed in January, will be incredibly frustrating if not.

Really tough test for him with the run of games we have, only easy game on paper is Killie at home and I still expect that to be a bit of a slog.

Getting to the next international break with maximum points would be some achievement.

If we make it with full points then the leagues done imo. That's the computers hardest fixture run away vs them having a run of home games. Win them all and I wouldnt be suprised if we end up 10+ points ahead.

I wonder how many people had essays written out criticising him before Palma's goal, not complaining or anything, as I was nearly the same :67:

I do think we need to play a different formation whilst Abada is out, we're as poor on the wing as I can remember, either that or give Oh a chance on the wing or play 2 up top.

    * it, Motherwell have been excellent this season so it's still a good result.

    Winning mentality and didn't panic..

Were poor today but still missed some bad sitters..

    Take it..

Lucky boy, he needs to learn * games off and beat a defensive block. All things considered today was a great win but I'd like to see us play well for 90 minutes and smash a side. Haven't done that yet and we're nearly in October.

That's Aberdeen, Huns, Livi and Well away and maximum points.

The changes he made won the game. And he made some massive calls on it.

Getting the results but I still don't think we're very easy on the eye. Just a wholesale lack of quality upfront (Kyogo aside, mostly). Have a hard time seeing anyone popping up with a moment of brilliance ala Jota. Still miss him a lot.

Aye, Abada’s injury is also a sore miss.

But he’s gave O’Riley a freedom to be able to also effect it in the final 3rd, rather than the more stringent role (that he also excelled in) under Ange.

Please, please, please tell me you’re not trying to patronise an invincible treble winning manager (and the rest) about ‘beating low blocks’.

    Jesus *.

What’s confusing you? You’re calling Rodgers a lucky boy, it’s akin to Michael Moles calling Ange the same a few months ago aka a load of *.

His record for Celtic would suggest he knows how to beat defensive blocks just fine, I’d suggest.

It's probably down to who he got become a replacement of, I'm staying on the fence.
I don't buy the "saving a wee lad from the bad stewards" displays (on par with kissing the badge theatre)

I feel that I'm gonna need at least 1 1/2 of a season passed before I can formulate my judgement.
