Daizen Maeda is so fast, he can run around the world and punch himself in the back of the head.

Think Maeda put new Duracell batteries in before the game

Think duracells have Maeda's blood in them.

I love Daizen. His work rate is something different, almost out of this world. We've had some great work horses at the club over the years, Petrov, Broon, KT, but IMO Daizen edges them when it comes to work rate and that says alot. Academy players should take notice on how he carries himself on and off the pitch.

Petrov, Broony and KT don’t even scratch the surface of Maeda’s work rate.

Said it before on here but the only guy I can think of that just pops up when he was at the other end of the pitch literally a second or 2 previously is prime Kante.

Lol, yeah it’s a bit of a Japanese thing, even Kyogo does it. Bang in a worldy and don’t celebrate, tap one in then celebrate wildly with the teammate that set you up. Love ‘em.

If he sticks around, he is future captain material. Big IF though.

Maeda's one of the weirdest players we've had in terms of technical ability. He spurns the easiest chances on a weekly basis, then scores a wonder goal out of nowhere.

You can never fault his workrate though, the pace he was showing even in up until his goal was phenomenal, if you'd just tuned in you'd think he'd just come off the bench.

Moses didn’t part the Red Sea. Daizen Maeda showed up and the sea moved out of his way

We have a gem on our hands here. If he was technical brilliant, no way would he be playing for us, he would be playing at the very top.
For his goal, he had no right to win that ball, CH was in control of the situation.
It was an awesome goal all round-win the ball, make space for a shot and bang.
All our wingers should be forced to watch his highlights from yesterday over and over again.
