    100% thought we were the better side before the goal not much you can do when you set up a team pretty much perfectly but get * by incompetence from your own players and dodgy euro refs.

    The last person we can blame tonight is Rodgers even though I'd like too.

    Some of the comments here a bit OTT stemming from long term issues, but I don't think they're that relevant tonight.

    We were the better team the first half, never a FK but we were still in the game, the thing that killed us tonight was the absolutely pish decision making from Lagerbielke and Holm.

    Whether the penalty was soft or not, Feyenoord player was never getting on the end of that, he can clearly see Joe Hart coming out for it so no need at all to put his arms out, Holm being a * diddy with a studs up challenge at the halfway line, absolutely no need for it at all.

    Onto the next game

    Thing is, this game isn't the worst for something like this to happen. Home games should be where it counts and we've seen that on a level playing field, hopefully with CCV back and players settled in, we can easily match them.

    How Rodgers set us up gives me a bit of encouragement. Biggest issue from all this going forward is who the * are we going to play at centre back next match.
