Just don't think we're ready for this at all, no ccv, rocki or abada, new players still trying to integrate and reo if he starts won't be at his best yet only coming back from injury.
And to add to that the team are still trying get used to rodgers style.

    So all in

3-1 to celtic. Got to remember this teams quality, but it's not Madrid, psg, or city we've drawn here. We've got every chance of a smash n grab victory. Down to big Joe Hart turning up imo.

The way there media is talking will be to our advantage. They're fully expecting an easy night because dugmeat sevco got beat 5-1. More or less exact quotes that. Only there manager is trying to downplay that yet we all know how players think. Can see them getting a shock at how * dynamit we can be. Hatatte starts, we win.

Phillips possibly being out is a big miss. I think it’s tough to ask for 90 minutes out of Scales and Lagerbielke.

They have their own injuries with Bijlow out. Gimenez suspended, Ueda and maybe Geertuida out who I think is the biggest miss.

See everyone predicting Hatate starts. Really hope that is indeed what Brendan is thinking too. But I have a worry that Turnbull starts and if so then the best we can hope for is a draw. He slows us down and doesn’t offer the same energy, movement or passing awareness that Hatate brings.

Biggest worry is the defence. A huge step up in quality for Lagerbielke and Scales - even a weakened Feyenoord team is levels above the Huns and the rest of Scotland.

Need the bhoys to play out of their skins for each other and stay disciplined, something we haven't always done in Europe.

Maybe BR will shock us and change formation have two defensive wing backs who can shift up and down the flank so have 5 3 1 1, don’t know if yang will have the legs for it, other option is if Phillips can play, push AJ into the wing back and Phillips in his place
    Hart
    AJ, GL, LS
    YANG……………….…… Maeda
    O’Riely McGregor Holm
    Hatate
    Kyogo

17 in their last 3 domestic matches. That’s with their best striker out as well I think.

Buzzing for it but it’ll be a hard one I think.

Have a feeling BR is to vain to give up on the David Turnbull vanity project just yet. He’ll need to realise soon that scoring the odd penalty doesn’t make up for someone posted missing the majority of games.

If Hatate is fit surely he has to start. If not I’d still start holm over turnbull, surely rodgers can see it

i remember beating Ajax at the begining of the O'Neill era, Agathe tormented them that night on the break.

it felt like the beginning of something exciting that night!

We have pace on the break, who will step up tonight??

He has been playing and scored 6 of those goals. He is suspended for CL because he got sent off against Roma.

Dutch sides tend to be pish at the back

Sadly, so are we in Europe. With a fully fit defence I'd fancy us a lot more.

Would love to see us become more crafty in Europe, finding ways to win like we do in domestic , always feel in Europe we do well in a more defensive system and counter attack .
