Just keep the scoreline respectable and i will be fairly ok with it.

    0-5 the hoops.

Tough tough game but sure so was the man city game a few years ago and we surprised everyone.

I'm usually very optimistic saying well win away everytime but if we get out of there with a draw I'll be well chuffed. It's going to be an interesting game .

Exactly and against Inter Milan in Lisbon we were written off...

Optimistically a draw, realistically a defeat, seen it too many times , and understrength team only adds to that...they have been scoring for fun recently. Need a Liam Scales masterclass with a cold bug going round the feynoord camp to take a victory.

Consensus, would bite your hand off for a draw considering how we are at the back, it'll have to be a score draw too which I've no doubt we can get in a look in at with Kyogos form.

Maeda tends to get space to run into in Europe aswell so can hopefully utilize that.

Weird feeling O'Riley will get in on the act.

It’s not middle to front that worries me it’s at the back. Centre half and at LB we will be targeted. Can’t be giving away cheap goals if we want to get a result.

Draw would be a fantastic way to get us up and running in the group

I think Rodgers will go with:

    Hart
    Johnston Phillips Scales Taylor
    O'Riley McGregor
    Hatate
    Palma Kyogo Maeda

Maeda, O'Riley and McGregor are all going to have to put into a solid defensive shift if we're going to get anything out of this. With Hatate fit and Kyogo in flying form, we can score, but I'm expecting a 4-2 defeat. Would be thrilled with a draw.

I think every opposition team know by now that our weak spot is the LB position which should have been addressed but shockingly hasn't. Anyway, I think the Dutch will come out all guns blazing and look for the early goal so hopefully we can weather the storm and hit them on the break . Would love to win of course but would settle for a draw.

The only thing here is, at least we have Maeda helping out down the left. I expect him to be heavily focused on his defensive duties tomorrow night.

A draw would be excellent for us going forward. A win would be sensational.

    It’s possible too.

Causes for concern... we know the Bhoys are still trying to fully find their groove, Celtic in the CL record isn't great and neither is BR's personal record of just 2 wins in 18 CL group stage games (incl his time at Liverpool) and not won away against a Dutch side since 2001.

There are some reasons for optimism although as well. This is Feyenoord's first CL campaign since 2017, for instance, so not a whole lot of experience at this level for them either. They've very evidently been piling on the goals domestically, (17 in the past 3 games), but will be without suspended striker Santiago Gimenez (who has scored 6 of those) and their other striker, Ueda, is also out injured, so won't have a recognized striker, so either AM Minteh pushed forward or winger Paixao played central, and thirdly, they've not kept a clean sheet in any of their past 4 games.

    Food for thought.

Absolutely take a draw. Hopefully he shows his more pragmatic side.

I really feel like we can get something here..

All about who he goes with and our approach though..

If he starts Turnbull over Hatate then we may as well board the return before kick off..

Be confident in our build up play and counter with purpose and we absolutely have the pace and threats to get at them..

Them having no recognised striker should give us that confidence with a weakened back line..

Right wing for me is probably the only spot up for grabs. I think I'd go Holm..

A very good test for us tomorrow. Could be the start of a special run.

    0-2 Kyogo, Hatate

I think this will show us where we really are for now.

I don’t think we have played well enough in any game this season to be confident of getting a result. Injuries have a big part to play in that and hopefully with a few back we can start to click but I worry we will still be caught short.

Let’s see where we end up, one thing we really can’t afford to do is pass up the level of chances we did last year in this competition.

    I would go

    Hart
    Johnston
    Phillips
    Scales
    Taylor
    McGregor
    O’Riley
    Hatate
    Maeda
    Palma/Yang
    Kyogo

If Palma is fit enough I would play him, he’s our big summer purchase so if up to speed should play.

It is poor when you look at our team I would argue it is weaker at centre back (because of injuries) and on the wings, while no area has improved on last season.
