Aye in Amsterdam when we were playing Ajax. Thats where the legend of the '* lampost' came from (search it). They had undercover cops stirring up * amongst our fans trying to get them to kick off and when we did they steamed in and started arresting *. Proper * tactics.

I agree.. but it's weird seeing you say this before a game. Feel like I haven't seen it before. :giggle1:

The shooting was the 3-1 game we won out there..

I remember the talk as I was out there for it. When we got to the ground there was a gate separating us and they were feebly launching stuff over but I deffo remember there was barely any animosity in the city compared to the last few times..

Think I was allowed my first beer at a game as well that day :giggle1:

One of the best European away results in my lifetime anyway..

I think it'll come down to the home games anyway. Apart from that one season with Rodgers (his second I think), it almost always does. Anything at all away from home is a bonus.

I just feel too many people are underestimating Feyenoord and overestimating where we are right now in the new cycle.

I also have man flu so the eternal optimism has taken a dunt :56:

    Opponent Celtic FC
Talking about the upcoming Champions League match, the former Feyenoord and Bayern Munich striker discusses the situation of the Scottish opponent. ''Celtic have problems especially at the back. An American defender is injured and another crucial defender from last year is gone. Feyenoord are playing at home and want to win the winter, you have to win this one. They do have a good Japanese striker they have to watch out for.''

Next, Kenneth Perez looks at the upcoming title race. He rates the stadium club's chances pretty high. To that end, the former footballer points to the completely reversed sentiment surrounding Arne Slot's team. ''It is very clever how they were able to turn that hesitant start around so quickly. They doubted at the beginning how good they actually were, but now they are still a great candidate.''

    Luka Ivanušec
Finally, the man of the match comes in. Luka Ivanušec himself says he is not yet playing at the top of his game. Yet he is already impressing: ''You see a mature player. I thought he gave a very good interview after the match. He calmly says he is still new and a bit nervous. Of course, that is always when you start somewhere new, even if you are a Croatian international. He explained very well that he will naturally become less nervous and be involved more often,'' Perez concluded.

Absolutely. Would love a point but they're well aware of our defensive issues. Hoping for a positive performance at the very least.

Celtic really need to keep it tight for the first half hour and just like going to the bigotdome hope their fans get on their backs and Celtic really need to score first and any other chances bury them in the goal .

See if we still had Ange in charge, I'd actually be pretty confident we could do this, especially with their backline in similar shape to ours.

But something tells me BR is gonna try to be tactically cute for this one. He seems really excited by the game. Problem is, we just don't have the personnel fit and gelled to compete at this level right now. Certainly not for any tactical master class.

They're gonna try and blitz the * out of us. We need to be cute, but * simple. Soak up the preasurre, hit them on the break with Daizen et al.

Honestly no sure what’s gonna happen.

just depends on how Rodgers sets us up and our formation.

We simply can’t use the same midfield we did at the weekend and Turnbull can’t start for me. Reo needs to be in the starting line up.

I would honestly use the MON system in the champions league with a 3-5-2 use Maeda and AJ as wing backs.

Not expecting a win but getting a draw would be nice.

Aye I wasnt there but I remember watching the telly and Chris Sutton bulleting that header in off the bar. Ibrihimovic came on as a sub in that game for Ajax. He was only a teenager. I remember that clearly aswell

    Worth noting.......

Valencia cuffed Athletico Madrid 3-0 at the weekend. Just shows they cant be world beaters either. We should be in with a real chance in this group. Every game in this group home and away is realistically winnable. There are no 'write off' fixtures and we should be looking on it that way
