    The Others

Thought it was great. Very atmospheric and a brilliant twist that I didn't see coming at all.

    The Exorcism of Emily Rose

Okay. Heard some good things about it and I liked the way it was told via flashbacks. Decent watch.

Yeah I quite like Predators. On first viewing I thought Predator 2 was good, on second viewing, I thought it was quite bad..but I've watched Predators 3 times and liked it each time

Watched about an hour of the new Indiana Jones and that was enough. Far too much CGI in this and most modern films in general. Harrison Ford is old as *. They should have called it a day after Last Crusade. 3/10.

OK for what it is. Decent premise and build til it turns into a diet-coke version of Evil Dead in the 3rd act.

Must've been at least at least a dozen walkouts when I sat through every cringing minute of that pile of crap. A proper contender for worst of the year.

Was really irritating, tried to limit my huffs and puffs so as not to ruin it for the Mrs and wee one as they were quite enjoying it but * me man, glad it's over.

Watched The Prestige for the third time. Might well be bordering on my favourite film of all time. Just absolutely genius and even better with repeat viewings.

I always suggest it to anyone curious about the conflict, dosent take any sides and shows off everything from the IRA to the collusion between the British Army & Loyalists.

Last Voyage of Demeter. Was actually alright, I quite like Dracula/vampire based films. Lot of crap ones out there but this was OK.

Enjoyed Gran Turismo- 7/10 for me. A bit like Top Gun Maverick, not Oscar winning or particularly original but great fun to watch and a decent enough story.
Also hadnt realised how much David Harbour looks like big Ange :giggle1:

Finally got around to watching some Scandy films (ooer) on my Viaplay account (£59 deal baby lol) Anyhoo

I enjoyed this WW2 Finnish war film, which is just two hours of non stop war action. It follows a platoon of Finnish soldiers fighting against the Soviets across a three year period. The Finns supported the Germans for most of WW2 as they try to take back Finnish land that was stolen from them by the Soviets in the winter war. The film has brilliant WW2 kit / costumes, a good script, good acting, lots of action and is acted and directed well. 7.5 / 10 for me.

Next up was this. Based on a true story of the Norwegian resistance and one of Norway's most famous resistance fighters as they take on the Germans in occupied Norway. The pic looks crap but it was a good film. Well cast, acted and directed. 7/10

Off topic but it's interesting how Norway had much more of a resistance than Denmark (who largely collaborated with the Germans during WW2)
