Don't know about the mentality side mate but whenever club does those teammates videos he's usually picked out as being loudest/biggest moaner in training.

You see it during games too, he's constantly moaning at someone, usually for failing to control one of his passes with their throat or for being too busy doing their own job and not doubling up with him to save him being exposed by any bog standard spfl winger with even a hint of pace.

It infuriates me seeing him moaning at better players when he is constantly *

I hoped he would be replaced as much as anyone; but he wasn't and we just have to get on with it.
He's here until Christmas and we might as well get behind him and hope he can turn it round: he's done that before, so maybe he can do it again.

If he's still as bad when the January window opens, then we can look at the situation again.

He was worth 3 mill just for his performances last season alone. Lets not be silly

I don't want to read or hear anything negative about this boy now, since he's literally all we've got :dancing:

In a completely different system aye.

I think everyone will acknowledge he was great for the most part under Ange. But he's had a pish start to life under Rodgers and past performances are now exactly that, in the past.

We really need him to step up and find form.

Last sentence is the only one that matters. He IS capable, different system or not. Am backing him to settle and start performing again.

It looked to me that in the first half, we were playing 3 at the back, with GT pushed up to midfield???

Thought he was much better yesterday, he was playing a lot more central.

I agree, it was like Scales was left back when we were in possession

He was better because he was able to play that inverted role. He’s a good ball playing LB.

But he lacks the athleticism to get to the byline and give us that option when the opportunity comes up.

Really enjoyed that, AJ's so well spoken and handles media so well for his age. Absolutely sound guy by looks of it.

Looks like he got more of a free role to how he played under Ange and it clearly worked, he played well.

For the long run, I think we're going to need an overlapping fullback to fully utilize Rodgers system.

Until January? I think there's no harm letting Taylor continue to play Inverted, especially domestically.

Yeah we need another Johnstone type, someone that can do both.

The way Rodgers seems to want to play inverted is if ball is on right the Rb will get forward and support/overlap while LB becomes inverted and tucks inside beside Mcgregor, thus allowing o'riley to push on and play as a 2nd 10.

It just doesn't work on opposite side as Taylor isn't athletic enough to overlap so balance of our play is off. Better teams will catch on to it quickly.

I like Taylor, gives his all and I think he will get the hang of it under Rodgers. It was still absolutely * criminal not to bring in another left back to help him or compete with him. Is he expected to play every game this season because I wouldn't have Bernabei in the ladies team

He looked better playing as a marauding FB on Saturday. But the reality is we can't afford to do that in the CL. It is what it is, as others have said it's too late to do anything about it now.
