    Say what you want about him but he’s got jobbers like Beale on toast, today makes you question why we never spent the money we should have this summer

    That win was down to him.

    * delighted for him. Shut a lot of people up. Hopefully we kick on from here.

    That's why he's paid £65k a week or whatever it is.

    Overjoyed mate honestly. My favourite win at ibrox ever tbh

    Only he could deliver that and I stand by it. Kjetil Knutsen, Maresca, Iraola...all lose that today with our squad as it currently stands.

    * anyone who disagrees.

    Cheers.

    I called him clueless before kick off. He proved me wrong today at least. Well done Brendan, well done :50:

    Uncanny ability to achieve huge results with makeshift lineups.

    Done exactly the same in his last spell

    Ralston Lagerbielke (2nd game for us) Scales Bernabei

    Is how we finished that game in defence. Unreal.

    Only other win that comes close is the 2-0 win under Lennon, and the circumstances surrounding both games were near similar.

    A completed depleted team, our hardest domestic fixture, huns far more settled than us.

    To come out of that with a win, not even a smash and grab, an actual, dominating win, speaks absolute volumes. We had a defence of Ralston, Lagerbielke, Scales and Taylor for the last 30 minutes ffs.

    Remember, we still have Nawrocki, CCV, Phillips, Palma and Bernardo to come into this side. LB might be an issue for the foreseeable, but the rest of the team will be more than fine.

    And Abada, McGregor, Johnston etc to fully find form.

    I think we all have to credit Rodgers. In the first half we were very good at times. Players knew their roles and found space all the time.

    We won a game a lot of us thought we would struggle.

    As I said before the game, even if we had lost today, I'm not blaming him.

    Some of the things said about him have been way over the top. I love the GB but their reaction to him last week was embarrassing.

    However, let's remain on the ground and be honest, as delightful as that was today, under no circumstances should we be heading to Ibrox with such a weak starting XI. It's absolutely credit to Rodgers for winning. But the board should not be given one iota of slack. We need big signings in January, most notably the LB area.

    He's a great manager! His tactics, at least here are spot on. I was expecting an absolute doing, today. Dunno about you lot, as I had been avoiding forums etc, due to how despondent I was feeling about this fixture.

    Went to Ibrox, no fans, makeshift defence and came away with three points. Unreal!

    Well done to him and the players.

    I still think our transfer window was *, I feel we didn't address a few key positions at all. It's things like that that will see him walk again. Back him or lose him, as a banner once said. Let's aim to progress in Europe, then we'll get the 3 years from him, might even get a little longer if he gets the full support from the board.

    * YAAAASSSSSSSSS!

    100% agree, today's game will hopefully get the fans off Rodgers back, but the next transfer window is vital, need to recruit very well.
