Our new starters are going to surprise a few tomorrow.

The Huns aren't that great. If they where I'd be half as worried as some in here but with how * they are, I'm not bothering with any negative vibes. Come final whistle tomorrow we'll have win and the mood all changed in here to a positive one.

Aye I agree. 99 times out of 100 the first game wouldn't define the season. I think the only difference this season is that, Brendan has came back knowing that a significant section of the support aren't totally happy about him being here, as he addressed in his speech to the fans.

I think getting papped out of the league cup by Kilmarnock, then a dog * draw at home to one the worst teams in the league, then a defeat to the huns, would send that section of the support into a * frenzy.

Football is a fickle business though, we could pump them 3-0 and everything would be rosey. Then they've suddenly lost their first game of the season, been papped out of Europe and humped at home by us.

But yeah, my point which makes this season unique is that Rodgers has made himself a polarising figure, and he'll be on borrowed time in certain fans eyes.

Whether or not the board give a * is a different story.

I do think we're lucky that the huns have a manager that's a glorified P.E. teacher, not winning the league would be catastrophic.

However, I do hope people have calm heads tomorrow if we lose. If we get pumped then aye, no issue with people going * on earth, but IF we do lose by a narrow margin, I hope people have cool heads and look at the current situation.

All hyperbole though, we're going to pump them rotten tomorrow :67:

    Hahaha 100%.

We are lucky that they've got him in charge. I'd argue that they're weaker this season than last. As much as Morelos was a fat * and unfit and uninterested he still gave our defense a game. Kent as well, his numbers were generally pish, but you felt like he could still be a threat.

They are relying on Tavernier for all of their goals and assists which is mental.

My only concern is our defense, and midfield. McGregor has looked * so far, but it is early, and I'm sure we will do the business tomorrow. We are serial winners.

Is it just me? Or does any other Celtic fan on here ever think......"I dont need this tomorrow....."

I mean its such an important thing. You feel on top of the world if we beat them and * mad depressed if we dont. That leads to a massive cliffhanger on how your weekend is going to go and how you are going to feel going to work on Monday morning. You will either have a happy hangover or I wish the world would open and swallow me up hangover

Does anyone no wish it was international break or some * so we didnt need to go through all the emotional drama?? and the decades of the rosary and the pacing the living room and trying not to snap at people around you cause you are so * worked up??

    Naw??? Just me then

Just don't start Abada and Maeda at the same time and leave Turnbull on the bench. We do this and we'll have a good chance of winning.

Really want to see Palma start. Got a good feeling about him for some reason.

Pretty sure he will start all those 3 and leave Palma on the bench. Hope I’m wrong.

Can’t deny it’s a weird derby eve this time, the nerves will still kick in early doors the morra right enough.

I’m pinning my hopes on the guys that have been there and done that flicking the switch tomorrow. Hoping for a huge performance from Cal for example and that’s not out with the realms of possibility.

When though mate? I can only think of the game he scored in at their shitehole. Maybe the SC semi but can’t mind him doing anything bar the assist.

Away and * with this negativity troops, going all Celtic da here but if I felt optimistic back in the day with Stuart slater and Andy Payton we’ve got * all to fear tomorrow, they are a riot, we have lost our way a wee bit but still have plenty quality.

    4 past them tomorrow, maybe 5 :party048:

Need to be switched on here. Keep calm. Don't concede within the first 30mins, frustrate the frothing knuckle draggers. Then build from there. Think we cam get something if we're disciplined defensively.

Hope BR is positive. Start Philips. Start Yang. No Turnbull.
