My take is we are about to lose the automatic spot after this season, we never risk doing any real business before qualifiers so we are currently stock piling cash.

Kept quiet. Checked in. Not a thing..

Went for a drink with the missus and curry, come in and fuckall again..

Can't even be arsed getting in to it in detail. We're weaker. It's a disgrace. We've no addressed the left back situation despite Taylor no being anywhere suited/good enough and Bernabei a laughing stock. We've needed better in midfield. We needed more quality options in the final third. We needed a new number 1..

    * these *. I'm away to bed. Here to improve for Europe my * *. Anybody that goes to quote this and disagrees * yer maw. Goodnight..

I really respect your opinion, but I want to give an alternative point of view and you can tell me if you think I'm talking out of my proverbial (I often am).

Quality doesn't have to be instant quality. IMO, Larsson was a better player for us than DiCanio; but in that summer of 1997 when we sold the latter and bought the former, DiCanio was the superior player. So I'm actually behind the kind of signing we we are making. Starfelt is better than Lagerbielke in the here and now as far as I can see; but we can also see signs that the latter can become a better player for us than the former in time.

Like you, however, I think it's utterly negligent that we haven't addressed the issues at GK and especially LB. I am astonished at the LB one in particular.

Ohs done as much as Johnston I'd say. Probably more, strikers are measured on goals and he's had a very decent return for minutes played.

Yeah I really like the look of Oh, would like to see him get a fair bit more game time and also start a few games. I think he will be a great player for us.

I'm fully on board the bus as far as our signing strategy goes, mate. What I can't accept is the positions they haven't addressed. Left back and goalkeeper. We have the money to make 2 more signings. If we can't get any good ones over the line, then go for a couple of loans. They don't have to be worldbeaters to be more solid than Taylor and better with their feet than Hart. Not addressing these 2 positions makes us weaker in the short term.

I'm going to bed. I have work at 8am and we're not getting a LB. Hope to wake up and see I was wrong.

90 minutes left, but you'd think IF we were signing anyone else, we'd hear it within the next 30.

Last inkling of hope is on the Media not announcing Celtic are done with business yet, but it's fading.

Seems odd that BR seemed quietly confident of more incomings on the training vid to then seem to suggest it was unlikely hours later at the presser.

Almost every statement he's made this window has been contradicted shortly after or not correlated to our business at all.

It's all very confusing - which isn't helping an already agitated fan base just now.

Could turn around in a month or 2 and say wow what a window. But it would be pure luck as theirs no way anyone at the club thinks we are stronger. They’re banking on potential turning good and Bernardo and Palma being ballers.

Brendan Rodgers in telling lies shocker. In fairness the blame for this window is solely with the board I imagine Rodgers will be as angry as we are

    In what way?

If we turned off our emails and phones at the start of the window, it would’ve went better than it did.

We’re a weaker team that we were.
