    Now the CL group been drawn I've had a look at our opponents and how they have bought and sold.

    Interestingly all 4 have had 1 major out over the summer.

    The other 3 have then bought 2 or 3 quality players in place then bought a few others for lower amounts.

    If you look at Feynoords business you could argue its exactly what we should have done. 1 major out a couple of others then 3 players in for 6-9mil and then some others.

    We have our major out and to date it feels like we've just thrown a load of darts at potential and hope to hit the jackpot.

    Hoping we see a couple more coming in the door soon.

    Another couple in and hopefully a decent LB long term. Win on Sunday to go 4 ahead and not all will be forgotten but they’ll have at least made up a for it quite a bit.

    Board will be kicking themselves about not pushing on like we all expected and improving the team for Europe after that draw. They’d usually be delighted to just be there and would’ve thought the same this year. But that group would’ve been doable…still might be.
