Guess my previous prediction is about on the button, the team who is less shitiest should prevail.

 

Palma and Phillips to start, possibly a new LB if done tomorrow as well. I know we can beat them comfortably, just depends on our line up and if we turn up. They’ll be hurting big time and be up for it.

 

If we can get a result with no CCV and Hatate, with a good few players making their debuts, never mind debuts in this fixture, they won't recover..

Try having no CCV, Hatate, Nawrocki and one fit striker.

 

All the pressure is on them to win this. A draw doesn't help. We'll get stronger by the next time we face them with countless returning from injury, our team finally gelling and being at Celtic Park.

Beale will be under considerable pressure if we win.

I can't see him being sacked, but given that he wouldn't have won a single big game since returning, the writing would well and truly be on the wall.

 

I'm a lot more confident after tonight, them getting * and us getting a big * of a CB in.

Phillips will cause them all sorts of bother at corners, and their game plan of crossing the ball the entire game won't do well against 2 CB'S that are 6 foot 3.

Way I see it, I think Rodgers will throw Phillips and Palma on, with one of Abada/Maeda on the bench. I'd also start Bernardo over Turnbull and the new LB over Taylor, but I don't think Rodgers will throw every new signing on at the same time. If Iwata had any gametime prior to this game he'd be starting for me, worried we'll see Turnbull start.

They'll be knackered and demoralised from tonight's game, an early goal and I think they'll absolutely crumble.

We have to score first, if they * score first we could be in for a pumping.

 

That boy sterling looked * awful 2nyt. If barasic is out then we need to get at him right from the start.

For the 1st time this season Taylor may not be the worst left back on the park

Don't wanna * on anyone chips but a duffing by PSV means nada.

In our current state PSV would likely do the same to us.

The difference between the sides is that in their last three games they've scored 5 goals, 3 of them against PSV, a far superior side than us right now.

We've scored 3, all of them against the sheep, and we couldn't buy a goal against Kilmarnock or relegation certs St Johnston. This is despite having the best striker in the league.

They've more games under the belt, are sharper than us, at home with a full crowd, and a massive incentive to go top.

I'd take a draw right now.

Gonna get flak for it, but the league is imperative. It's all that matters this year. Letting those * animals take the title would be an unmitigated disaster. Every point counts. With Europa League football it also means their weekend games will be shifted to the Sunday, meaning every week they'll be chasing our result.

Keep Ralston, Turnbull and one of Maeda/Abada away from the team. Play fast attacking football. Don't overcomplicate. Be aggressive and on the front foot. I repeat: FAST PACED FOOTBALL.
