Forster was awful with his feet tonight. Great shot stopper though.

People remember that but there was plenty of games he rotated and we won easily

Took a glance at the team didn’t realise it was as many as that. Didn’t realise Son, Maddison and Kulusevski and Sarr never started.

    * me the * on ESPN is brutal. Acting like the Carabao Cup is the biggest cup going and Ange is in trouble. American media but he’s English and got that English media mentality. Don’t really like Burley but at least he tells it how it is.

Watching him trying a side foot pass has always been painful, big leg swings like a Sand Wedge golf club

Tbh for a club gagging on a trophy I thought he'd have viewed that as one of the priorities.

Was very surprising that, they all had a similar style of waiting for him to pick a side and placing it in. Either well practiced incase of it or a coincidence but perfect style against him that.

Depends on what the club view as his priority I’d imagine. I’d agree with you but I don’t think Levy gives a * about the Carabao Cup, Spurs have an undeserved arrogance about some competitions.

I’d have been saying go all out for the League Cup in their shoes though, best chance of silverware, first one of the season, sets a winning tone.

As it is I don’t think they cared much about it and he’s used it as look the squad is not good enough.

They do definitely but the fans don’t set out the targets for what he’ll need to hit this year. If it’s top 6, a big ask already, he’ll plan towards that.

I think Spurs have a fear that with the emergence of Newcastle, Chelsea spending big again and even the likes of Villa, West Ham and Brighton looking strong, that they could remain outside of the top 4 race. I can see why their focus is on the league

Spurs don’t need to finish fourth this season to make champions league, sacrificing cups this early in the season when you have no europe isn’t a good look

100% this mate. Well not so much West Ham but an Emery Villa that has spent loads consistently now, Brighton who are the best run club around just now… but Newcastle are now the ones, they are going to nail down the Spurs sort of place in English football this year and next then go on to surpass it to go for the City type.

He won’t go weak in the FA Cup that’s for sure.

It’s not like there are any better teams in the FA Cup, just more motivation for teams to win it and full line ups. But he will get that in the League anyway.

The Carabao Cup isn’t easier just because its the least desirable.
