The fact we are only gonna sign 1 if our 3rd choice leaves tells you that club don't see it as big a priority as everyone else does.

I get the feeling our business model is look for players like Kamara would be at the huns. Teams that have players they want rid of and as the deadline draws near they are willing to accept less money. We are unlikely to be looking at a player who is important to their club and would need replacing at this late stage.

Lets hope there's some decent fish at the bottom of the barrel or that we are scraping a high end barrel.

When i watch Hart i see a GK in rapid decline, even in the way he moves/reacts, i canny believe that Rodgers dosen't see the same, failure to act will cost us big time, i'm certain of it.

I agree mate. Think Rodgers style will inevitably lead to him * up trying to play out from the back eventually too. Hopefully not on as big a stage as Leipzig last year.

Only thing I'm thinking is that due to Cb injuries as well as bringing in 3 new ones, Rodgers views it as too much change at the 1 time and needs an experienced head there to help others settle in.

There is logic in that thinking mate, but i always think if you identify a weak area of the team you have to address it, otherwise it will come back to bite yer *.

Experince is a good thing to have in any team, but it counts for nothing if the player himself cannot perform to the levels required.

Yeah I agree and I do think it's gonna be an issue this season and an even bigger issue is he clearly doesn't fancy Siegrest as he's been bombed out of the match day squad since pre season, so an injury to Hart means having to play Bain who probably isn't even good enough to be 3rd choice.

It's yet another risk we dont need to be taking with the squad

I reckon Rodgers knows, mate. It's whether the board do.

It's not really a good measure, though. For example the nature of the chances our defence and play style give up will affect that, as will the quality of the strikers themselves. What was his post-shot xG? That's a better measure.

Don’t know where they are going but both Kovacevic of Rakow and Noppert at Heerenveen are good keepers that will be on the move before the deadline I think.

Heerenveen just signed another keeper which I doubt they would have done if Noppert was staying and Kovacevic has largely just took part in the CL qualifiers for Rakow so far this season.

Dier to Bayern and that lad from Peterborough off to West Ham apparently. Not that we had a chance but two more players we can cross off the list
