    The reinforcement in attack requested by Brendan Rodgers is approaching. According to the latest information collected by TuttoMercatoWeb.com, Celtic are one step away from Mathias Kvistgaarden , striker born in 2002 who recently showed off with Brondby, collecting 6 goals and 4 assists in 9 games in the playoffs of the Danish championship.

    The agreement between the parties is very close. The Scottish club presented an offer of around 5 million euros to the Gialloblù company to convince it to sell its striker. From Denmark to Scotland, Kvistgaarden is ready to switch leagues. And life.

    Makes no sense an Italian site would report on a deal involving a Danish player in Denmark as being nearly done, when Danish sources are stating we had two bids rejected.

    Aye that’s true … That’s probably the position I’m most nervous for is recruiting.

    An “ experienced” guy coming in sounds good in theory until we get lamped with a Shane Duffy type

    He looks much better than Klimala technically..

    Klimala was quick but poor technically. A poor finisher as well, this boy has got an assist or goal in 22 of something like 35 games i read. In a much better league than ours or the Polish overall. For a side who aren't even top dogs..

    Pretty impressive if that's accurate....and a lot of it off the wings..

    If we get this guy in, one of Kyogo or Abada are off. We aren’t spending 5-6 mill on a backup striker and we aren’t carrying 5 right wingers for a season

    He recently signed a deal with Brondby until 2027, which is why the price is higher than normal. Also Danish mate didn't even know Brondby were considering the sale.

    Doubt we'd entertain any offers for Kyogo at this stage, rumours of Abada moving on for ages so I'd say that's possible, maybe Haksa as well depending how things have been with him behind the scenes this week.
