Just to play devil's advocate.. we lost 3 leagues in a row to the huns, closed the upper tier in our stadium and havnt won a knockout euro tie under his stewardship.

 

Of the 13 players I'm suggesting most of them didn't feature under Ange. I'm talking about our recruitment over a period of time not our current style( which I agree is *). Ange got the best out of what he had, and bought players that suited his system, so far BR hasn't been afforded that luxury

 

Not wanting to go all conspiracy theory here but I did ask why he was front and centre on flag day. Why him?

Now here we are scratching around with a couple days until the window closes.

I will wait and see what happens, like ive said from the start but man, Lawwell gives me the * fear.

 

What BS is this? Do you honestly think that, after the acrimonious way that he left in Feb 2019, and then for Celtic to come begging him to come back this summer, restructure their entire managerial set up in terms of contract etc to suit him (in defiance of what has been the club's policy since Fergus McCann brought in Tommy Burns, through MO'N, WGS, all the way through to Ange, and set all that aside just to get BR to come back only for him to be having all these players signed without him giving the greenlight? Seriously?

Of course he has agreed to every single one of them. To say that Ange, with all due respect to the big man, who was a total unknown quantity in European football when he arrived should be allowed total carte blanche, but BR, who has so much experience down south as well as a highly successful first stint here and as mentioned the club bent over backwards to get him to agree to return would not have some stipulations/conditions in his contract regarding signing policy etc, but is then told no, that he only gets what others decide to give him without his say so and consent? Surely you're not that delusional.

 

Injuries have played a part in these results mate and, with a new manager in place, there was always going to be a settling in period.

You seem to be writing off the signings we've made already, give it time.

Mate, we're on the back of winning a treble. It's no even the end of August yet, far too soon to be panicking. Let's see how things go.
