Don't doubt we do tbh but he's highly rated and they'll play hard ball. We won't spend what they want.

Yeah.. apparently they've turned down offers of over 7 mill and already told the huns they can't afford him. Barry Fry is no mug, we ain't getting him.

Counted about 13 or 14 names there I'd be happy to see leave. Mental.

Quite grim when you see the squad written down like that and really emphasises the need to get at least 5 in this week.

The midfield has a frightening lack of depth.

Yep.. that's what happens when we continue to load the squad with cheap punts, some will pay off but your just left with a bloated squad with the ones that don't.

A quick Google shows huns were also interested as well.

Seems the type of player we should be looking at. See what happens

We shouldn't be going for any player same as them they are skint and understand they are looking at a Peterborough player but we have plenty of money in the bank and should be aiming higher .

Huns were told to do one they couldn't afford him. Also rejected a 7.5 million bid from a Premier league team apparently. Be shocked if we spent that on him.

I'm thinking we might actually spend some decent money now. Just at the stage now there's no room for negotiation and if we want a player then the other club holds all the cards.

I also think the memo was let's see how we do with what we have before we start spending. Which is horrible but no surprise

Tbf I think Der Hun, led my Hans Moleman, throw an enquiry over the fence to England to anything with a pulse.
They've been linked to at least 12 or 13 championship and league 1 players in the last two windows

This boy is VERY highly rated, and exactly the type of player we should be looking at. 7m, whilst alot, and not exactly a bargain, is a worthwhile investment. He's not on much much wage wise, room to develop, and more than a good chance of netting us a hefty profit down the line.

But rather than invest REAL money, on REAL reputed talent... we'll look for the next urhoghide that will run us a couple of hundred grand, figure out after a week he's pish, pap him out on loan ... Rinse and repeat.
Or worse... Spend 2m on a Kobayashi, Hendry, or a bank account draining loan on an OAP from the EPL.

We have CCV, Nawrocki and Lagerbielke zero chance we're spending big bucks on a fourth CB..

    But we should.

We should be signing competitors, not covers.

In fairness our central defence was the only strong position we had untill 3 of them got injured.

Nah, we've been unlucky with injuries at CB we've already made significant signings there, in 2 months we will have 5 CBs vying for game in likely 2 slots..

We need a clever loan or short-term deal at CB and need to spend bigger in other positions that we clearly need to strengthen..

The boy from Peterborough will cost over £7m we ain't paying that and rightly so.
