    * even giving them the goodwill of the weekend, sign someone today, we need 5 players in there’s no chance they’re getting 5 in 5 days

Takes us about fortnight to get any deal completed. 5 in 5 days is just not happening.

Rodger’s and the fans have been let down massively by the board. Was obvious what was going to happen with losing key players and not replacing and our injury luck was clearly quite bad. Said it that we would probably find ourselves chasing early on and looks like we will be.

When you have Forrest, Scales, Ralston, Turnbull playing with a past it Hart in goals. Bring on players like Haksa and Bernabie who don’t want to be here you’re in trouble.

Still scunnered by yesterday's non performance and totally scunnered by all the ITK's or just rumours over the past few weeks of players supposedly coming in. Most of all, I'm scunnered that, as supporters, we are once again being short changed by a board who's only goal is a healthy bank balance. I'm not advocating we adopt a hun financial model but ffs it's blatantly clear (and has been for a long time) that we have needed a new GK, LB and strong box to box MF and, just recently, a CH and CF. If nothing happens this week re signings then we are fecked and could loose our league to a pish hun team and be embarrassed in the CL..

We will bring in a few this week. They aren’t going to be ready to play next Sunday though, and we are already out a cup. It’s a shambles.

The irony of this given you've literally said multiple times this window that you hope we bring in no one else to spite the "panty wetters"..

    Frankly you're looking like a delusional *.

I said that once, tongue in cheek, and have never used the term 'panty wetters' cos I'm not a * imbicile.

I tend to try not jump in head first with the doom mongering, and like to give things a chance. The miracle we pulled off when Postecoglou came in, against all common sense, has made me realise that going through a bad spell isn't the end of the world.

Problem now is we seem to be lacking urgency in the team, which is worrying me. Not ready to write us off just yet although we definitely need to raise the bar pronto.

So no, am not delusional, am just not a spoiled, reactionary FM Internet guru like a lot of you *.

100%. The only way the board change their habits is if we go * mental. They have zero ambition and will serve up the bare minimum they can get away with unless served notice.

How can it be described as "reactionary" given many of us have criticised our failure to kick on for over a decade.

We have micro ambitions to just stay ahead of that mob by a inch and do * all else.

A couple of significant loans to buy could seriously change the outlook of the transfer window.

Tommy Doyle from Man City. £8m
    Andreas Schjelderup from Benfica. £11m

Both available. Schjelderup isn't even getting into the * Benfica squads. Why aren't we all over a deal for him.

Quite simply because you can never be certain how things will turn out. Folk just make assumptions based on zero knowledge of the inner workings of the club, and spout absolute drivel as if they have got the phones tapped. It's childish as * imo.

See the issue for me is we are being run by people who are acting like a very corrupt political party for years we have heard we are operating under a budget that's all well and good but that entire budget should have been operating as savings account in some way when you consider we have never really pushed it to the limit.

Obviously I'm not in the know in regards to the inner workings but something stinks if we have been sticking to this budget and never once have we outspent it or reached a limit of it in essence we have been hoarding the cash. We hear rumours of a set budget but it's never been built up in a sense the extra money being rolled over. Where's the cash going ie the money from KT wasn't spent in full the money we got from rodgers leaving the eddy ajer Christie GG juranovic the money from last seasons group stage certainly wasn't spent. The money from ange this year and jota amounts to 25 - 30 alone ontop of group stage and last years group stage. Where the * is the money accumulated to ?

We have DD and his son Pedro and his son and probably just shy of 20 other board members to run one club? What are they all doing if not lining their own pockets to the detriment of the club and fans something stinks lawell has been in the club for what 20 year give or take a year or 2 ?

Just looking at the transfers from last summer. It is incredible how Ange transformed us and brought everyone pulling in the same direction. But last summer and I to January not including Jota and CCV we signed:

    Bernabei who has been useless
    Haksabanovic who has been useless
    Abildgaard who was useless
    Jenz who did a job
    Yuki who has been useless
    Mooy who did well
Alistair Johnston who has been great
    Oh who has been decent
    Iwata who has been useless

For all the talk of 'the model' this past year it hasnt served us too well.

It’s very difficult to comprehend how the majority of this squad won a treble last year and now they look bang average.

It has to be the fact these players were brought in to suit a specific style of play and now they are not comfortable doing what has been asked of them.

Maeda Abada and Kyogo for example do not need many touches of the ball. They are not suited to possession based football. They all excel in off the ball running and getting into positions for easy finishes in the box.

I’m all for having a recruitment team that bring some continuity but it looks to me like all of the players we’ve signed have been Ange signings. They would suit his style better than Rodgers style which is a massive problem.

Surely to * we will get better as the season goes on and the players adapt but the squad needs a bit of an overhaul this week.

Too many players simply not good enough to be squad players (ie Haska, Bernabei) and others who are back up at best (Taylor).

We need 3/4 quality players in. CB LB LW CM ST.

Do we need a striker? Kyogo, Oh and Maeda are the options at the minute. It is obvious to me that Rodgers sees Maeda's future through the middle. It could end up being that Palma and Yang fill the positions on the wing. Kyogo through the middle with Maeda being brought on a lot to stretch teams late in the game.
