The opposite here. Thought he’d be a strong enough manager to continue Ange’s work.

I was very wrong and wish we went elsewhere

 

And not one single reason to hope it will get better. Unlike when Ange came

 

Was against him being reappointed but thought he should at least have a positive impact right away. That was also one of the main argument of the people who were in favour of him.

Atm, ot can be said we could also just appoint a guy like the Rayo coach. Rodgers was bad at transfers in his first spell and it doesn't look like he improved. No proactive approach anymore. People on here said he's a better coach than Ange, and while that is most probably true, he just looks inferior as a manager.

I also wonder why the * he came back. He fell out over transfers with the board in his first spell and it looks like he's in the exact same situation just after 2 months this time

 

Hope he's out before then.

Loving the vitriol against him now. He's a rat * and shouldn't been allowed near our club again. I accepted him as it's Celtic but still hope he's sacked and made to look like a * instead of coming back and trying to mend things. If Huns beat us next week he should be run or if we're humiliated in cl and beat he should be run. No excuses!

Not as good a manager as his record with us previously would suggest. A huge downgrade on Ange.

 

I should add, none of my posts are “told you so” posts directed at people who wanted Rodgers back. I do get the reasoning after the success he had before, but I really think it was a lazy and uninspired appointment that shows how clueless and lacking in foresight our boardroom can be.

I'm exactly the same. Couldn't bear to watch celtic at times in his second season. Actually gave up my season ticket that year. Cost and sitting in a plastic seat in sub zero temperatures also helped that decision. But his football is awfull

 

His problem is he's trying to change how we've played the last 2 years... instead of his ego getting in the way he should have spoke to Kennedy about how Ange set up and stayed with it

 

What actually is his game plan for winning games??
His all demeanor tells me he would rather be somewhere else. Pish.

 

He's quite clearly a step down currently..

When we were first linked i didn't want him no just because of the past and no liking him but because I wasn't in the camp that had him as a winning the league banker..

I then talked myself in to remembering a lot of the good points and history. But it's really no looking good..

I don't know if he's got it in him for a league battle all the way. Getting heavy vibes that he'll crumble..

The discontent at full time said it all today. No words needed..

 

Well Brendan a week tomorrow you have a real chance of cheering up the Fantastic Green And White Masses for highly obvious reasons.

180 minutes against Kilmarnock and St Johnstone and not a single * goal

He said he wanted to make some tweaks to a Treble-winning and here we are out a cup and scraping for draws against a team that Stirling Albion pumped.

 

A gutless performance from players who have been told to play a certain way.

Much the same as last week's pathetic performance against Killie, we were utter pish.

This time it was at home. Unacceptable.

Rodgers is killing us already, and it's * all to do with the "quality" in the squad.
