I never agreed with anyone in this "splash the cash/ BR has been promised the moon/ we're flush" pish. It's simply not what we do. Any large fees are only spent AFTER successful loans Jota , CCV, Eduoard.

But * me. I at least expected the club to really use this window to * UPGRADE key positions.
To make a real go of it and strengthen the squad to the point that no one would touch us domestically for years, and to perhaps give us a fighting chance in the CL.

I'm sorry to bring it up, but there's no * excuse for this, it MUST be about the class action suit.
There's just no plausible reason to be so * lethargic.

Stockpiling "projects" and trying to secure contract renewals smacks of damage control, not ambition.

But even with that, there's still no * reason why the club can't afford / find an upgrade on Greg * Taylor.
There's no * reason why we can't find a DM in our price range who can do a job in Europe.
There's no * reason weve dithered and dicked about finding Jotas replacement.

All this big talk about our new and improved Lawell 2.0 seems to have been * guff.

It looks to me like Ange ran EVERYTHING. Demanded the club get off their holes and sign HIS players.

Everyone associated with this window has * questions to answer.

We'll have Palma starting left wing. He sees Maeda as a striker, that'll be 3 with Kyogo and Oh. We have other options like Abada, Palma himself, Vata, Tilio and Yang who can all operate or have done as out and out 9's or false types..

I'd love for us to be bold and nab all 6. That would turn it in to a sublime window..

Nawrocki and Lagerbielke on paper is stronger than just Starfelt for example
Yang, Tilio and Palma (hooefully) as attacking options gives us more depth than just having Jota. Although none will be as good as him..

 

I'm not doubting that. What I'm saying is that he must have been briefed. And if he's been briefed that we're signing people and Romano has been briefed that we might not be signing anyone as we're prioritising extending contracts and then Rodgers comes out and says we are signing people, this doesn't sound like everyone is pulling in the same direction. It sounds more like there's an internal battle going on.
