Not Actually that Crucial a Summer as of August 2023...beginning to now think everything isnt fine!

I think there has been a lot of negativity and I’ve said as such, but even I’m starting to get a bit sick of this now.

A marked contrast to how quickly our business was done under Ange, his first window aside.

With the bar set that low it's an absolute * joke that we are 9 days away from window shutting and havnt sorted either.

I don't know about you, but I'm hoping we're trying for signings a little more ambitious than that! Hopefully when they finally arrive, they'll be worth the wait.

We as a club have basically given up on doing anything in Europe.. it's solely a monetary benefit rather than any footballing goal.

 

But I'm not even sure we actually derriere any monetary benefit from it.

I mean, yeah we get money from it.

But the money is practically an irrelevance as we do nothing with it.

I still struggle to understand why Rodgers would return without a guaranteed significant budget. I said a few days ago we were weaker coming out of the 22/23 window, a project in a proven goal scorer out. This window Jota out, nobody in. Abada is a massive downgrade on Jota, the 2 CB’s are unproven and although I was not his biggest fan Starfelt could defend. If we don’t deliver on promises to Rodgers, I hope he walks and calls them out. He’s maybe a brilliant coach but by * we are not supplying him with good tools to work with.
As I’ve said previously , we will get absolutely battered in the CL, embarrassed.
