Going by a couple of podcasts he could be off by the window closes and not upset if he does .

Definitely think there's a player in there.

A couple of weeks after he signed we were all praising his technical ability and his play.

It's fair to assume, as @Tony Ralston says, he's never really quite kicked on after that injury.

This games fortunes change on a dime.

Half this forum "wouldn't be bothered" of Turnbull was sold three weeks ago.
Now he's back to being an important option for Rodgers to have... After a decent pre season and a good showing on flag day.

New managers can be the make or break of a player, let's see what Rodgers can do with him first before we throw him on the rubbish tip.

I thought he was one of the few minor sparks yesterday. He ar least tried to create things and should have been given a penalty that would have handed us a life line.

Deserves some credit at least when others around him who regularly get praise offered * all.

    Completely agree with this.

One negative with him is that he goes to ground too easily at times though. Only a few minutes before the penalty incident, he threw himself to the ground at the edge of the box and that plays on a referee’s mind when making split second decisions like the penalty. That said, there is absolutely no explanation for VAR not intervening at the penalty incident, other than those behind the monitor being Masonic hun *. The club should be asking for an explanation for the decision (and the offside goal awarded to Killie).

I thought we'd have been better to bring on Iwata for MOR.

What he did leaving his leg there for the challenge is what you see jack grealish doing every single week in the English prem but he’s praised for this as being “clever”….

The one on edge of the box was a dive with the ref about 2 feet away. I think if he never done that we probably would of got the penalty.

Agreed, but that’s what VAR is for. Inexplicable and it’s a bit embarrassing that we haven’t kicked up more of a fuss about it tbh.

That hun * Mcinnes still banging on about a decision they got against them 6 months ago worked for them, about time we do the same.

We are never gonna get a penalty from var with the huns in charge of it. However if the ref had given it during the game they wouldn't have been able to overturn it as wasn't clear and obvious mistake.

To be honest. I don't want us making a fuss.... It just reeks of sour grapes.

I thought he was utter * when he came on, he is the definition of flattering to deceive.

A ‘creative attacker’ who passes the ball back the way to the guy who gave him it more often than not.

I wanted him to succeed so much but it's not really happened for him and I don't see a place for him in the squad now. Possibly one we could upgrade on or even just drop without it making much impact on the squad.

He's also feart to use his left foot. So many times he's had that option to get to the byeline and cut the ball across but turns back so he can try and cut in on his stronger foot or ends up playing the ball back the way. Was doing this a lot at Rubin too and was one of the reasons I never really thought a winger was his best position.

Totally agree. Look no question we played terrible and created the square root of * all but that was 100% a foul on Haksa and a PK. The fact that the club has literally not said a peep is a disgrace.

He was far better when he came on.

You can tell because there isn’t pages worth of abuse since the game.

He has not developed the way many of had hoped, flatters to deceive so move him on as we have enough excess baggage.

I like him and think there is a player there. People wanting to punt him when we are so short on players at the moment is stupid

Frustrated Celtic winger Sead Haksabanovic is seeking a move away from the club before the close of the transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

The attacker, 24, has not started for the Hoops so far this season and made only a brief cameo against Kilmarnock in the Viaplay Cup last weekend (20 August).

Haksabanovic was one of the Glasgow club’s brightest performers in his 15-minute outing from the bench in the shock defeat to Kilmarnock.

His omission from the side has come as something of a surprise especially with the club losing fellow winger Jota earlier this summer

The attacker is understood to be unhappy as to why he has been overlooked for selection despite mixed messages from the hierarchy at Celtic that he remains a key part of the club’s plans.

Brendan Rodgers’ side beat off interest from a number of clubs across Europe to land Haksabanovic from Russian side Rubin Kazan last summer and the skilful winger quickly made a positive impact in his early months at Celtic Park.

Haksabanovic = was named Scottish Premiership Player of the Month last November after scoring three goals in three league matches in the month ahead of the break in action for the World Cup.

Following the five-week World Cup break the Montenegro international made only four starts in all competitions up until the end of the season after going into the break in the best form he had shown in Scotland.

Haksabanovic’s absence from the Celtic side during the second half of the last season as well as the start of the new season has also surprised many within his international set-up with Montenegro.

The winger’s situation at Celtic is sure to alert a number of clubs across Europe who will be willing to lure away the forward with the offer of regular first-team action.
