Could see it coming a mile off: that pitch; McInnes’s tactics, and his team on a high; us with two new CBs who’d barely met each other, and a manager not that long in the door. Banana skin to say the least.

End of the day, no matter what the media will say, you can’t win them all. Trebles aren’t our bread and butter, and the measure of a season isn’t whether we can manage to do something we’ve only done 8 times in a 135 year history.

That said, we need to be learning from this sort of thing. I’m sure we will though.

Ange lost his first 3 away games and never built a CL team.

I don’t get the ‘only the league cup - so that was the one to lose’ approach… seems to be the coping strategy for a few Celts.

A disappointing early departure from ANY competition is a failure for us. It shouldn’t be happening.

It immediately cancels our hopes of a treble - and with it reduces our chances of overtaking the Huns bogus trophy haul.

That aside… the team seem to now have the same amount of backbone as the board do.

Hopefully they will see now that we have to many weaknesses and get the signings in we need. Gutted we played so badly

Doesn't matter the way you dress it up we shouldn't get beat by Kilmarnock did they have seven or eight players of 3 million signings no .
We had better players but their tactics and workman like efforts won the day but that Celtic display was pish

It's not even the fact we lost, it's the manner of the loss.

Unfortunately we have been the victim of these type of decisions for years and it has really gotten worse over the past few seasons. During that time our club has failed to act and I honestly can't see them doing so this season. Can you imagine the stink if those decisions involved the huns? - they would be knocking the SFA's door this morning demanding action and the SMSM would be full of so called experts calling out the referee.

Ange had to rebuild a squad from the ground up. We have a treble winning squad and have very obviously regressed under Rodgers

My annual celtic should threaten to leave the spfl rant unless we get unbiased officials.that * picture of mccinnes the ref and linesman laughing masonic handshake fellow bear just perfectly sums up our corrupt league. But if your happy to bend over and get shafted every season before a ball is kicked then crack on.our board do * all to call this * our every * season.HH

What shocked me was how utterly toothless we were attack wise. If I knew we were going to lose before the game I would have expected it to be because of issues at the back which were all too glaring in the opening 2 league games. But going forward we actually looked pretty decent at times. But yesterday wow that was dreadful. We did almost nothing in the final third.
