Everyone should be panicking a bit now to be honest.

We needed upgrades for this season and as it stands we’re scrambling to replace what we’ve lost.

It’s no exaggeration to say we need 5 or so players.

They’ve filled the squad with punts at the wrong time and now it’s either going to be below par or it’s going to be bloated.

Nicholson needs to step up big time. He’s making an * of this window.

I remember when Ange first arrived he pretty much publicly said that he wasn't happy with the speed of things transfers wise. I can't mind his exact words but we were a bit slow with him at first as well

    People forget that. I'm concerned.

    Squad is bloated to *.

Could easily dump 8 players and its still too big!

Why do I get the feeling we will get a few man City loans and the auld we tried but market conditions priced us out of most moves bullshit.

I don't mind the odd loan, Feyenoord and PSV took 6 each last season. I don't think we should go that overboard but I don't think the odd 1 is a bad thing.

I agree we are bloated, because the reality is last season we didn't actually add quality to the squad. We are only now getting rid of dross signed in 2020. We added AJ but he was replacing quality, Oh was replacing quality, Mooy felt like a Rogic replacement. but I'm not sure where Hacksa or Iwata fits despite them being ok, Bernabei failed and Yuki replaced Jenz and is inferior. Maeda, CCV and Jota were recruited the previous season so I'm not including them but maybe I'm being harsh.

Been expecting our business to go right to the end if the window but after yesterday I think we'll see movement over the next couple of days. Big kick up the * yesterday.

Siegrest, Yuki, Scales, McCarthu, Soro, Turnbull punt/loan. Wouldn’t mind Maeda, Haksa & Abada going too if we recruited a decent LW and RW, but unlikely we will sell all 3 we’ve left it too late.

A keeper, KT and Podence or other first team quality left winger is needed before end of window. At least.

Right so that's it confirmed by Arteta they arent selling or loaning out any of their defenders so that's dead in water with Tierney. Player won't be happy but * all can be done, better get Dudu Duhan on the phone or phone Sheikh Mansoor and get a token loan from Man City!

Is it time to pay these guys off? A million or so to get rid of 5?

I feel like * Cassandra of Troy in here.

The * in me wants to give it the girfuy for the * abuse I've taken for my "negativity" .

The Celtic fan in me is * distraught. So IM gonna be the one to say it now...there's still time.

Time to save this window and time to properly strengthen.

The CL is a busted flush. We're *. We're going to get * horsed and the club is directly to blame.
But with a few REAL reinforcements, we can kick on, settle the squad and bed them into this new regime to take this title, and start building from there for years down the line.

My major fear now is not the club, but Rodgers. I can't help feel the guy is a * mental midget, who is resigned himself to accepting this mediocrity. I just can't see Ange putting up with a window like this. He would have been on top of this week's ago. Rodgers took his sweet * time "assessing" a squad and a team he claimed he's watched for the past 4 seasons, and now seems to be ringing some sort of alarm bell after HIS bullshit tactical display against Kilmarnock.

If we had have humped Kilmarnock, I doubt we would've heard such language from him. It would've been the whole "hopeful of getting some quality additions before the window shuts" pish.

He better wake the * up. Fast.

I had hoped 2 seasons of Angeball would have at least had a positive afterglow following his departure - the 'never stop' mentality baked into the players minds. It's quite sad how quickly it's all gone flat.

Was Ange the driver behind these mediocre players playing above themselves over the last 2 seasons? These are still mostly the same players but don't look anything near previous.

I'm honestly wondering if Ange could see this coming.

You're right, Ange wouldn't have accepted this window at all.
He seemed happy at the club and I was honestly surprised he left this squad and the fans behind, he was a year away from truly proving his football works on the big stage.

But he had a big meeting with the guys above him, and a week later the rumours of spurs started.

    Coincidence?

A summer window where lawwell snr is firmly back in a position of power and a meeting where Ange reaction is to seek employment elsewhere.

Rodgers seems still to be accepting of this * as well, resigned to it.

    No fight from him either.

Honestly can see him walking before the season is out, mentally he won't be able to accept this over two windows and knowing next summer would be the same.

I guess we don’t know for sure how much input Lawwell has, but this window is a carbon copy of a Lawwell window.

Spend £10m on punts and don’t upgrade a winning squad.

I honestly can’t get my head around how we are making record income and record profits but Greg Taylor and Tony Ralston start at full back for us.

Well I can answer part of that.

Taylor is the only dependable left back and was excellent last season.
Ralston is only in the team because AJ is injured.

Would agree we seem to have wasted money on punts again which at the AGM ange said we would try and stop doing and go after a higher calibre of player with experience and be more aggressive in our transfer dealings and not to get to attached to players.

I cannot understand why we are stockpiling cash again, they must have something in their planning, I have been told all window final days will be the quality. I now just expect to be let down and if there is 2 or 3 just waiting on the greenlight I will be surprised

5 out the next 8 domestic games are away

    Rangers
    Motherwell
    Livingston
    Hearts
    Hibs

In-between hearts and hibs we will have a UCL game too!

I cannot watch that sideway possession football though so won't watch another game until that is changed its torture

    Exactly man.

I know we don't know for sure how much input, but it baffles me that some people still can't see that he is clearly influencing things negatively (from a supporter point of view).

Should be adding some new scouts to the list of required signings because if the ones currently there can't find a better left back than Greg * Taylor withing our budget then every * one of them should be punted

I dunno if he saw it coming. I think both the club and himself probably never expected a club the scale of spurs to come up and get him so when the likes of Nagelsmann etc were no longer in ghe picture it all happened quite quickly.

I don't believe he'd have left for any other job down there unless ofcourse it was top 5.

Likewise I don't think we saw the Jota move unfolding.

To be fair, we spent a decent wedge for us on Bernabei, he's just * and Taylor was good in the inverted role plus Johnston will start when fit, but I do still get your point.
