Odin Thiago Holm.

He actually reminds me a wee bit of Declan Rice. I think Rice is a bit overrated but the way they take the ball from deep under pressure, keep things simple, but mostly their ability to advance the ball quickly, that long stride. Definite similarities in style there I think.

 

I'm a few games away from whipping my chap out and going stroker ace to his vid reel.


For me, he starts against Der Hun.

 

I like him, nice touch, movement and energy. Always seems to want to be involved, has that bit of aggression in him we like and a wee bit of a swagger.

 

The sign of a good player that time just seems to stand still when the ball comes to his feet, always looks like he has more time than everyone else. Could be an absolute star.

 

Said it a couple of times now but he really disappears for periods of matches

Absolutely outrageous we replaced a immensely creative midfielder in Mooy with a 20 year old project, who doesn't look like he's going to make a impact any time soon.

He's a talented young player who's looked really good coming off the bench, but he's still a good bit off properly starting for us.

I thought the same, seemed to do absolutely * all. He may come good but he wasn't the player required

 

He had a few good touches and moves.

He's a young lad and will take time to settle in. It's far too early to get on his back and more so when the rest of the team was poor.

 

If O’Reilly squared him the ball rather than pass it back to their goalie this thread would have been entirely different.

He wasn’t great but he’s still very young and inexperienced and that is a tough game to make your first start in. He’s shown enough that I think he’ll be a good player for us.

 

The manager is worse to be depending on young fellas like him. Surely DT would’ve been a better option to start.

 

Can’t really judge him much on that showing, whole midfield got bypassed for most of the game from the slow sideways play. McGregor and O’Reilly weren’t any better.

 

He's young and not the answer yet. But neither are O'riley or turnbull.

 

I like him, but can't help but feel disappointed with that performance.. was harder to not find Kyogo in the 1st half.
