Goal was offside, and we should have had a penalty last few mins. Actually don't think we were too bad; haven't read much of the match thread cos it's always a car crash. I think we've improved in last few games. We'll romp this league in my opinion.

If anyone comes in for Abada 8m plus, I'd take it.

Actually * hate Kilmarnock, I'd love them to go under.

Turns out spending the day in the airport returning from holiday without any chance of seeing the game is a good thing. Glad I missed this one.

Oh right, aye this is what I thought must have been in. It really did look ridiculous then.

    * honking.... How can anyone be happy with that? Our squad is around 10 x the value of theirs, even without Jota we should be steam rolling teams in our league with the squad we have. Boring sidway passing slow getting forward, we don't stand a fkn chance in Europe (unless we are going for the Hun record of worst ever team) with performances like that.

    Whole team were abysmal today.

Taylor and Ralston not good enough if we are going to play them as traditional full backs.

Abada and Maeda were invisible. Can’t argue with Abada’s stats but deary me he is awful in 1-1 situations. So is Maeda to be fair. Imperative that we have wingers who can beat their man to open up space and unlock defences.

McGregor was very poor by his standards, thought he got bullied quite a bit today in duels. Him, Holm and O’Riley far too similar to play as a 3. Been saying for as long as I can remember that we need a defensive CDM in the mould of a Wanyama. Midfield is too lightweight.

No doubt CCV, Johnston and Hatate walk into the team and make us much better.

Rodgers needs to have a look at himself too - his system / tactics let us down big time today. Hardly created anything and allowed Killie to squeeze us high up the park too often with pedestrian passing.

Must be the most disjointed I have seen the team in a while not a performance to take many positives from the getting Kyoto the stop deep and link play didn't work and left them happy not to have to worry about him getting in behind them. Midfield never got any control in the game thought that the centre half did alright but the full backs not so much too !any times players looking to play the ball back than try to go beat a man need a bit of steel in the team

Entire team played like they'd just woken up out of a coma.

In fact if you'd been in a coma for the last couple of years and woke up today you could have sworn you were watching the 2020-2021 season again.

It was probably our worst performance since that time.

There was a lot more than the two full backs that were rotten, but they two are killing us. The are offering nothing. Both receive the ball, run 15 yards forward, only to then turn and pass it 15 yards back. The fact we are looking to the bench to change the game today and bringing on the likes Turnbull though tells us all we need to know about our transfer window. We need major investment over the next two weeks.

It’s about time the players and manager suffer the consequences of losing to * teams in Scottish football.
Fine everyone of them 50% of their weekly wage including manager for every loss and 25% for every draw.
Totally unacceptable to lose to a team like Kilmarnock

Yer agood poster Stew, but this take is absolutely wild. We looked like Sunday league players after the Christmas night out. That Servette would have beat us the day on that performance.

Very shrewd from Brendan. Awful defeat in a cup competition that doesn’t really mean too much and hopefully can now use the time to concentrate on the CL whilst also kicking the board up the * in getting in new quality signings.

That’s the floating jobbie I’m clinging to anyway.

I’ll always look for positives after a defeat. And to be honest all I could see was the two new CB’s look really good. The Swedish boy especially.
No excuse whatsoever but the pitch is an abomination and the ref/VAR was atrocious. For me denied a blatant pen late on. And the elbow on Taylor is a clear red card. It’s a recurring theme with us,especially away from home, that teams are allowed to adopt a physical approach against us that is a joke.
And the wee handshake and smile McInnes shared with the red at full time I found very interesting indeed.

Will see how things go but I predict us a 12 point win margin this season. Don't usually feel as confident. I think we're gonna struggle to get a point in CL but domestically I'm fine with what I've seen.
