Not Actually that Crucial a Summer as of August 2023...beginning to now think everything isnt fine!

Not sure we are the club that builds his reputation back up to be honest.

He won everything he could with us, invincible as well, and best he got was the Leicester job.

2-3 years doing that again here, he will get the wolves job at best.

He seemingly rejected Saudi as well, which tells you for sure it's not about money.

I just don't get it.
What is he here to prove? Because the clubs clearly not backing him to do what we originally believed.

Been saying this for a few years now. Anyone gets in about us and we disappear. We get pushed about like weans all of the time. In our entire squad there's only AJ, Ralston, CCV, Nawrocki and Oh who are physically robust enough.

Rodgers could of easily sat out a year and lived like a king in Spain and then went back to the premiership. I genuinely believe he has love for this club.

What assurances were made we don't know.

 

We've papered over the cracks of our lack of power in midfield by signing a K2 CDM who won't play any time soon.. what's our strategy there given we were clearly targeting Souza to fill that position last summer who would have went straight in.

 

Could be, but surely take the Leeds job for a year and that does him better than here?

There's no club in world football that can conspire to make things drastically worse from a position of strength than Celtic.

It's been done that many times it's almost an art form.

 

Agree, believe he actually is s fan and does love the club.

Just don't see what's been promised to him to improve things here.

Because, if anything, we've clearly went backwards this window in how we recruit, who we recruit and why we recruit.

There is no squad progression this summer.

It would be a far harder task getting Leeds(who aren't in a good place off the park apparently) promoted from the Championship(one of the toughest and most unpredictable leagues around) than it would winning the League with us. We were by far the safer option.

Yep, absolute fuds that come out with that. Obviously it’s better to have your new signings in as soon as possible so they are bedded in for the tougher games. Transfer window has been a disgrace

 

Safe option? He didn't need to take any option. EPL has managers sacked constantly. Will probably see about 8 managers lose their jobs this season. These are clubs willing to pay over the odds for quick replacements.

 

Are we allowed to criticise yet? Or will the happy clappers keep telling me to be patient and how strong our squad is.

 

we will get some 22 year old with potential as next signing, I'm sure of it

 

BR - wasn't backed, quality of his team was going downhill. Even the GB did banners saying back him or lose him. He moves on and he's called a fraud.
