A pish start to the season. Turgid football and a pathetic result today.

It was always going to be a massive comedown after Ange left, we'll not see domination like it probably under any manager.

But the passing and moving has went fully out the window, mental to see us playing as much long balls and 30-40 yard passes in the air, losing the ball constantly during games.

    Shocking way to play.

That's the honeymoon period well and truly over for him.

I get that the system he's trying to implement doesnt work with our current fullbacks, but he has to take major blame today. We looked atrocious the entire match, to not attempt to change anything was beyond me.

Keeping Maeda on for the entire 90 was clueless from him, Maeda works against the huns and tougher away games where teams try and attack us. Against low blocks he's useless.

I'm still very happy we brought him in, but by * do we need to get a move on. He was already up against it with the way he left, he'll be even more so now, especially if we lose to the huns.

After Ange I felt that regardless of who we appointed it was going to feel like a downgrade but our football seems to have fallen off a cliff. We simply need to spend the money we've been threatening to spend all summer and improve in a number of positions.

The most worrying thing for me today is how long it took him to make the most obvious of subs and then of top of that letting Maeda see out the game

Disappointing, but he needs time to put his stamp on the squad..

    Unconvincing start tho.

The 1st 18 months or so of his 1st spell here were tremendous. Quick, attacking football played with belief. After that we started to go backwards until we ended up with the same rubbish we saw today. Slow, half-arsed football with the ball being passed sideways ad nauseam. This was my worry with him coming back, nothing to do with how he left us. Can you imagine Ange just stood with his arms folded whilst we just surrendered one of our trophies? And to have our main goal-scorer and best player dropping deep when we needed a goal with time running out just sums up the awfulness of our display today. 3 games played and not a clean-sheet in any yet either BTW.

Not sure why we brought him back given we've completely failed to back him with quality additions.

He wouldn't have come back without certain guarantees...

If true, he certainly needs to remind folk of that and get a move on.

He also needs to kick the pace up a notch. We're so predictable and slow.

Needs to get the finger out big time that was appalling, teams sussed his way of playing first time round and we ended up with tons of performances like that worrying that we're only 3 games in and that's what we're witnessing.

The worrying thing for me so far is I've no real idea what we are trying to do.

At times its his football then at other times its Taylor and Ralston coming inside.

I'm also wondering why he's come back if we don't spend any money.

I was happy with BR return and still think its the right move but we can't keep comparing with Ange. He left us for a bigger challenge and the club acted swiftly to replace. Unfortunately that's where the haste stopped with the club.

we do not have the players for his system, we have not replaced the quality we lost. Our club is more interested in posting how great our finances are.

Yeah, I’m not completely writing him off. He has shown that he can be a good coach.

But he seems to be completely clueless when it comes to breaching the low block. Kyogo shouldn’t be having to come back and play it from the midfield because nobody is capable of getting it through to him.

For me he's completely * us by allowing too many balls to be played through the air.

Ange basically created total domination and control because he only allowed short passing on the floor and every player was told to be on the move so the pass was always on. We had mental possession under Ange just because thats how we played and we dominated games and always had the ball.

Now we are floating passes all over the place, losing the ball most of the time and inviting teams on the attack as well as using up our own time by it ending up in constant headers and throw ins and back and forth.

    Like watching Man U.

To be fair very few managers in world football play that style.

I never expected him to come in and say aye OK I'll just continue with the old guys tactics. That makes him look a bit of a mug and would never really happen.

If the club felt we should continue that way we should have brought in someone who wanted to go down that route still.

He came back to us with zero good will. He's now gone into minus good will, so get him to *.

He was spouting * about making signings that would make us a force in the CL.
But the last decent thing he bought was his blue suit, for his arrival at Leicester.

Just get the snake * to * and do it now.
