Honestly don't think he was as rotten as made out to be. Nervy for sure and up and against good players, but the guy's just came out of the K2 league which tbh isn't a good standard. Takes time to make that transition.

Has some attributes I like though, mobile and has an eye for pass. Can * them over the top which is something I think we lack in our armoury.

He was * to be fair mate, gave the ball away constantly, only time he didn't was when he played a safe pass, and even then he sometimes gave it away.

I agree though he has attributes to work with. I think a big problem the other night is he made mistakes early doors and looked spooked, didn't go looking for the ball or try and progress it much. Get a bit of confidence and up to speed and I'm sure we'll see what he's all about.

Personally I think the occasion got to him. That’s just inexperience and totally understandable. He’ll be good for the hit out and I think he’ll come good with some patience.

The inexperienced part I saw was him trying to overplay, almost as though he was trying to prove that he fit in. They were slick in that first half and I don’t think he’ll have seen anything of the likes. He got carried away and tried a flick at the top of our box that almost cost us a goal. He just needs to tone it down and do his job.

A safe completed pass is a good pass when you are trying to build your foundation. He’ll be right, he’s got all the attributes.

The fact he's come from K2 is to me a concern in itself. I just find it a bit frustrating that he looks like being our choice foe the tall, powerful CDM. With the amount of cash we've brought in and the position we find ourselves in financially.

Considering we went from targeting someone like Souza at £7m last summer to him, at what, £800k, its a bit strange.

It's still a position needing addressed. As this guy is gonna take some moulding.

More concerning is his stats were bang average playing at that level too.

Celtic by numbers did a couple of articles on him and he was below average on a lot of metrics.

I know stats only show so much but it is a bit concerning in terms of what data our scouts look at. Bernabei being the other obviously *? signing.

The fact we've essentially signed a project for a position most of us thought was a key recruitment area can be looked at 2 ways.

    1) the management team don't see it as a necessity they way we do, maybe due to style he wants to play and doesn't feel a "Wanyama type" would fit.

    Or

    2) they belive we already have the player for that position in the squad ie Iwata.
I know many arnt convinced by him so far but he has played out of position a lot.
He does have a lot of the required qualities ud want for someone playing that role and can't forget he was J League player of the year so clearly must have something about him.
It may have only been a small sample but his performance when he came on in the semi final does give me cause for optimism.
The huns definitely had the momentum at that point in the 2nd half and he came on and we regained control of the midfield from their on in.

I think we should be looking to loan him out to another spfl club for the season if we can. I don’t see him getting much gametime with O’Riley Mcgregor, Hatate, turnbull, Iwata and holm…. Unless he’s ahead of Iwata in the pecking order and could get some minutes with the 5 subs but I doubt it I’d imagine if turnbull doesn’t start games he’d be first to be subbed on in the middle then holm. Would do kwon good to play regularly every week for this season to get used to the Scottish league

The fact he hasn't been on the bench first two competitive games probably needs to be discussed. Surprised it hasn't been brought up.

I think it says a lot clearly, about where Rodgers thinks he's currently at.

It also suggests, as suspected, we still haven't plugged that 6ft + shithouse of a midfielder gap yet. Shock!

He may be the answer but I think it's clear he's gonna need time.

We’re bursting at the seams with central midfielders, especially with Holm showing he may be more ready for a breakthrough than we initially thought.

He may need to bide his time here for a chance.

I think he will be fine. I’d maybe loan him out, CDM is a position I’d love us to splash some cash on. I want another Wanyama or a prime Kayal.

Did we expect all these past 4 signings to be squad ready players. I think Kwon and Tilio will take some time. I'm very pleased Holm and Yang are looking great additions.

Kwons interviews showed he has the drive to succeed. Lets give him time to adapt and develop. As some suggested maybe a loan in Scotland will help.

Think he was signed for the future rather than to be a starter now. If this is the case and he’s not going to feature much even off the bench surely a loan should be on the cards

He wont get loaned out yet, best to get him integrated into the squad and used to the level expected.

I think he will get game time and would be better cover defensively than Iwata I’d say.
