We'll just pay the fine, because we can. * the huns, we decide what happens in our stadium, not them.

It’s not about leverage, it’s about self respect.

The teams in the association have the power to change rules in regards to away allocations via votes. If they don’t then why should we finance their away ends? More than a few of them would feel a pinch.

dont know the in's and out's of it but how can sevco get a licence to host a game v us with the blatant safety issues.if memory serves me correctly them * had came in before the game and hid baseball bats ,hatchets and the like in the bins the last time we had fans there. if sevco cant provide safety to away fans why are they allowed to stage any games

Rangers have written to the SPFL outlining their expectation of a ticket allocation for away fans when they face Celtic at Parkhead in December.

The move comes after Celtic turned down tickets for their trip to Ibrox next month.

Rangers offered their bitter rivals an allocation of 708 briefs for the first Old Firm clash of the season on September 3.

However, Celtic favour a return to larger ticket allocations for the derbies.

Before declining the tickets, they raised concerns over safety issues and claimed their fans had been struck with glass bottles during previous visits.

Now Rangers have contacted the league to reinforce their desire for tickets for the return game on the other side of the city on December 30.

The Ibrox club are prepared to provide additional stewards and work with Police Scotland to find a solution. As yet, the SPFL have not been asked to intervene.

Under rule i27 of SPFL rules, it is stated that ‘the home club must make provision for the admission of such reasonable numbers of visiting supporters at every home league match’.

The final two derby fixtures of last season were played without any visiting fans.

Speaking earlier this month, Rangers chief executive James Bisgrove said: ‘Our belief, as a club, and certainly mine as the chief executive, is that away fans add so much to football, the colour, the vibrancy, no matter the game.

‘Then you look at the Old Firm fixture, and having away fans there is a positive in terms of the stadium atmosphere and the spectacle worldwide.

‘We have had discussions to see, based on the number of season tickets we have sold, what we could make available to Celtic and that is the 700, 750 number that we have made available for the last four or five years.

‘The respective security teams have met and there have been reassurances made by the Rangers security staff in terms of extra stewarding and extra policing.

‘That is a conversation we need to have with Celtic in terms of what they want to do.

'We believe that away fans should be at football matches. So, yes, we would want Rangers fans to be at Parkhead in December.’

NEVER WANT TO EVER LISTEN TO HUN SCUM AND THEIR VILE CHANTS at Parkhead ever again, I’m still shocked that our board have grown a pair in dealing with the huns over tickets and BBC’s t english still being banned, long may it continue

We won't see the huns at CP again until the ticket issue is resolved. It's as simple as that. Police would be more than willing to agree on the safety issues and avoid binding up resources hosting 700 coked up neds at CP.

That's a great question, but also applies to any game were there is an away support surely?

Feels like Celtic and/or other clubs should ask that question officially and see what happens.

If they want to go the whole road then I think we will have a very strong case to make as the safety of our fans is paramount (as is any commentator who has Celtic leanings, club doctors and even our club captain) as, after all, major venues are often refused a licence if they can't guarantee the safety of those attending. So, basically, tell them to get to * Celtic.

It has to be full allocation or nothing, the focus has to be on the huns and why it is that they cannot ensure the safety of our supporters, as a club they're not fit for purpose.
