Throw in scales and maybe a loan player also for duk, offer around £3m.

Hes got pace, strength, scores goals and i honestly think hed go up another level at us.

I reckon we should try get MOR’s old mate from MK Dons, Scott Twine on a loan to buy. Fantastic on the dead ball which will stop the opposition fouling us around the box and he’s also excellent in the AM, SS, while also being able to play in the wide forward positions.

Chelsea looking to sell Ian Maatsen, would be an ideal LB for us.

If we're shelling out 12 mill on a LW my first pick was that Nakamura boy before he moved to France...my second choice would be that Luca Ivanusec that plays for Dinamo Zagreb rather than Podence who's 3 yrs older

Kiril Despodov, 26 year old winger playing. For Ludogrets, got a move when he was younger to Serie A it didn’t work out, had a very good year on loan at Stum Graz before ending up back in Bulgaria.

The league isn’t the best but he scored 14 and assisted 15 in 30 league games last season. Has good pace, takes an excellent set piece and threat with long range shooting and although predominantly plays right wing he can play across the left wing or attacking midfield/10.

In the last year of his deal and would be available cheap.

He is also his teams captain and the national team captain.

Decent player, can play anywhere across the front 3, good numbers, not seen anything of him play though

Would Callum Hudson Odoi be completely out of reach? I seen earlier in the window he was meant to be heading for Fulham but he's still at Chelsea with only a year left on his contract and they're signing Adama Traore on a free trasnfer. I think wages are probably a major issue but he's still young and the fee for him was really low at £5m.

Also, Ryan Sessegnon from Spurs. I know we have been linked with him before but that Udogie seems to be the main man going forward at left back and they still have Davies and Perisic who can play there for them. Would we be able to go in there with a Loan to Buy offer? Wasn't in the Spurs squad for their game against Brentford, unless he has some injuries? Played 21 games for Spurs last year too. Again, probably would be too much in wages but could we make it work? Has less than 2 years left on his contract. Valued at 18m euros on transfer market but we know how that works.

Hudson-Odoi is meant to be on £120,000 a week -- would categorically saying he's well beyond our reach. If he leaves, it'll be to a side who can match that wage, or come very close.

Sessegnon apparently on around £60,000 - slightly more realistic, but probably still well beyond us. Loan would be an option, though.

Eden Hazard is a free agent. Per transfermarkt, he's linked with Olympiacos. If they can afford him, I don't see why Celtic can't. He's 32 years old. Chances are he's got a couple of years left in him.

Genuinely didn't know Hudson-Odoi was on that sort of cash. Thought he would maybe have been on £70k a week or something and with the low fee of £5m, we could have made him a significant offer of a large signing on fee. Yeah.. ignore that one then!

Still think Sessegnon would be possible though, especially if he's getting £60k a week just now. Likely that he would have to take a drop in wages when he makes his next move anyway.

Another couple of players with similar profiles playing in lesser fancied leagues. Marco Grull of Rapid Vienna, right footed left winger, who has double digit goals and assists across all competitions for the last two seasons in a pretty average Rapid team.

He is in the last year of his deal. Has good pace, again good at set plays and creating chances from open play too. Last year of his deal too so wouldn’t cost too much.

Also Ivan Jamie at Famalicao in Portugal looks a very Jota-esq player. He would be a bit more expensive but have a lot bigger upside if it came to selling him.

As insane as that would be despite his injury issues, just won't happen.

This generations Lubo though. Make it happen pistol Pete.

19 year old CB at PAOK. Mentioned him before. Would look at him as that 4th CB in there if we punted a few.

CelticStar report that we’re linked with Eric dier, * no, I maintain that dier just walked onto the pitch at a spurs game in full kit and just blended in and has been there ever since, he’s definitely not a fitba player and surely Ange doesn’t hate us that much that he’d let the transfer happen

Apparently AC Milan are sniffing around him and been quoted €10m. We’re not going near that for another centre back.

I think we will make a signing late in the day, potentially a few loans, when the window is closing and players looking for game time and or have been told that they wont be favoured.

Willing to take flak for this, but as another ST option, what about Miovski from Aberdeen?

Sheep apparantly want £7 million for Duk, which we won't pay, but as back-up to Kyogo maybe Miovski fits? Young, looked good against us and the huns and knows how to score against the dross in this league.

No idea how much the sheep would want, anything over £3.5 million is too much, but if he's available for below that I wouldn't be against it.

I'd definitely take Duk but Miovski is poor. That goal at the weekend was his first in 11 games and Duk does all the ground work and running for him. Again, that goal a prime example.

I actually came in to suggest this lad from Copenhagen. If we are signing another striker I think it needs to be either one who's 18-20 age group or 30+. Personally I'd * love Michail Antonio.

Aye that's fair, always thought he looked menacing against us but Duk does a lot of the work for that Aberdeen side.
