Unless we go to a bigger league, I don't see this as required. Getting tickets for home games outside of CL and OF is not that tricky.

Just bring back the old stadium. All terraced. Cash at the gate. Even Lawwell can skim the proceeds without Raising suspicion. 35,000 official attendance when clearly there was double that. I literally did not have to walk out the centary game I was swept up in the crowd. Good old days.

 

Might be an atmosphere killer for certain domestic games, that said, if the season tickets sell every year it’s still a win after the stadium is paid off.

Looking at the cost of Wembley and Spurs, they’re ranging 700M - 1B. Going by that we’d have it paid off with extra book sales of 20k in around 75-100yrs.

Was just looking at Real and Barcas capacity and avg attendance, Real’s was quite surprising ~20k lower than capacity with Barcas ~10k lower.

 

Sell out season tickets and give out school booking tickets for the smaller games.

Would love to see our stadium as 2 tier all round. I remember seeing those CG mock ups a few years back of what it could look like and it looked fantastic.

Could even offer discounts on some tickets so the extra seats don't end up empty against the * like Livingstone and Kilmarnock.

 

Yeah, it's one of those foolish brags by folk who don't understand, and want to 'compete' with the Huns, who do have a listed fronting. Our's isn't, thankfully, so we're not trapped by it. Theirs is, so they're *, even if they could afford to expand.

Not sure if our "famous stained glass" is a listed component, but it can be moved, so long as it's preserved, I think... Doubt it is though, so shouldn't be a hindrance unless we choose to preserve it - which we definitely should!
