The turgid games only occurred after we had won the league and Ange already had one foot out the door.

Before that we were on course for a record goal scoring season and barely dropped a point, winning all the pivotal games vs the huns etc.

I wouldn't describe that as "turgid".

    I would.

To be honest his trajectory was fairly similar to Brendan's albeit Brendan exploded onto the scene. Ange will be out the door at Spurs if he has a start like he had with us.

Both played great football initially that started to Peter out as it went on, no doubt due to backroom politics.

It's the fact you are willing to give Spurs a pass for an away draw at * BRENTFORD and admit they will get better with signings. Yet you just spew negativity about your own team.

    Why even bother?

I agree in some ways but we’ve also scored 7 goals in 2 games this season so far went to hard away Venue and won by 2 clear goals for the first time in a while. Team look like there still gelling and some of signing look decent give us a bit more time before we all jump the gun

    I thought I could be a moaning * but you're miserable as * man :giggle1:

There is things to iron out but it's early days, we've still people to come back from injury, signings to gel/come in and we'll undoubtedly start to improve..

Right now we're trying to get players up to speed and it's important we just keep winning whilst still nowhere near where he wants to get us..

Mate I'm just calling it how I see it.

There have been some good signs in the first two games but equally some poor signs. It's disingenuous to ignore the drop off between the style of play under Ange previously and Brendan so far.

I'm not writing this team off at all.

Yet your waxing lyrical about a draw for Spurs today away from home, whereas we won 3-1.

Very early and top without being anywhere close to our best..

We've still to make some big signings and get a stamp on this side..

    We'll get there..

I don't doubt that. Repeating myself here but we're 3 or 4 signings away from being a brilliant side.

To be honest that game against Aberdeen is probably one of the most difficult games we could get for the 2nd one of the season.

    And we won it.

    I'm confident we'll come good.

You clearly never got the memo mate.

3-1 win at Pittodrie is a DISASTER.

Actually thought the sheep looked decent. That Duk is a pler. Whether good enough for us I don't know but he is a big powerful runner with a decent touch. The other lad up front looks good as well.

They'll be annoyed at dropping points to Livi last week.

We have no divine right to go up there and get the points, this was a hard fought win, credit should be given to the team for that instead of the endless negativity.

That Aberdeen team is better than anything Ange faced at Pittodrie and today's result was better than anything Ange managed at Pittodrie. I love Angeball as much as anyone but let's not rewrite history. We won 3 - 2, 1 - 0 and 2 - 1 in the 3 visits under Ange.

When you remember Barry Robson as a player, it's no surprise he's got the sheep playing some good stuff, i'd fancy them to take points off the uglies this season..

Theres no doubt about that. But end of the season league was a formality and apparently so was he.

I do believe however that once we get properly settled we will rampage this season

They would've won points today if they were playing the huns.

Actually looking forward to the huns trip to Pittodrie. If Aberdeen are going to show the desire and pressing they did against us, it'll be a terrific game.
