Hoping he can go up a level this season. If he wasn't able to train fully since Christmas, how good can he be fully fit? :36:

Keeping hold of him this window could turn out to be more crucial as any signing we could make.

Absolutely brutal for their goal. Looked so slow.

    Hopefully injury not too bad.

Not a great first half by him but playing in a new system remember and didn't have a pre-season

Highlights the lack of cover for CBS.

I think that's due to his fitness

Theres no way he can be conditioned enough yet, given how little game time he has played in pre season and coming back from an op. Im a bit frustrated at our management of him but he is so important to the team.

Dodgy as * playing him, expected him to get injured last week and was shocked we subbed Nawrocki instead of him.

Just knew he'd get * before he was fit setting him back even longer, nightmare.

He’ll be out for a bit now I’d think. Shouldn’t play next week of that there is no doubt.

He was rushed back because we were so slow to make quality additions to the defence.

It might be a blessing in disguise if it means we get another CB in.

Prime example of why we need 4 we can trust on varying levels.

If we sign 2 centre backs in then we'll clearly be going for 3 at the back at times..

Rodgers does say it might just be precautionary, but it wouldn't shock me if we bring that Mbuyamba in now.

Zero chance he plays on the abomination of a pitch next week, and I'd rest him against St Johnstone, hopefully he's back for the huns

Next week is the LC Away @killie so would hope he be given the rest anyhow. Not to denegrade the LC or the challenge of Killie away on that artificial pitch, but in the dcheme of things there are bigger, more important games coming that we need CCV for and a player like Welsh should be there deputize for games like this.

I just hope it was a bit of a dead leg or something minor like that at HT and not worth sending him back out after the break but after the recent surgery and everything it's obviously a concern as to what it is.

Don't think the injury makes any difference in that regard, by all accounts the deal is already done for Gus
