We need a good bit of work and need it done quickly. Not replacing Jota is massive because i dont feel like we have anybody who can create something out of nothing or take on and beat a player

He was never shy when it was a smaller amount of players coming in, can't remember the exact windows but there was at least two when he kept saying "1 or 2 more players to come in" when we needed double that, so it's a bit of a relief hearing him say that.

Yes I'm a Debbie Downer, but I seriously question our readiness for this window and think we've been caught on the hop.
We look to have had a perfunctory scouting list which we've acted on, but as to actual strengthening the immediate first 11, I honestly think the club were reliant on Ange to tell us what and who we needed.

We've now had to wait an inordinate amount if time for Rodgers to do so.

Given the late stage in the window, I can't see us getting what we need.

A couple of "decent on paper" signings, and a couple of loans from the EPL.

I keep hearing it's going to be a "busy week" but how do you define busy?. Is it a few rumours flying around from people ITK or some newspaper "exclusives" or just wishful thinking on our part or our manager repeatedly saying we are going to get some bodies in. * all that I say - just get yer fingers oot and make actual signings with photos of half decent players (not projects) standing in Parkhead with a Celtic scarf over their heads. Now that would be classed as a "busy week" for me.

Celtic have not spent massive this summer! We could have spent £45m and not touched a penny in the bank once jota and starfelt left. You had £25m after benfica cut and would most likely have had a circa £20m profit last season with the same cash guaranteed and maybe even more if huns don't make the UCL.

Why would we hoard cash again!
