Think it's madness changing the whole club around every 2 years we ain't an epl club we can't afford this in monetary terms (every 2 years) we won't be able to build solid foundations if everything changes every 2 seasons.

Anges system was brilliant in it's simplicity it would have needed tweaked and better players for European football but I think Rodgers is taking us back to his football which will need a whole load of new players just what we need for the upcoming champions league fixtures

That was a tough watch at times. Positives were we ground out the win, at times played some very decent football, O'Reilly and Ralston both brilliant. Negatives, thought for the most part we were too slow to move the ball and passing was very sloppy at times. We're clearly a much better side with Hatate in, so a real disappointment to see him injured. Hope it's not too serious. Taylor was woeful today as well, getting worried that his form under Ange was about playing that inverted full back role and that he's just not up to playing a traditional full back role. You're never gonna get as much space in wide areas and I think he struggles with not having as much time or as many options.

 

I would love a consistent team mate and build something special but the reality is we’re a selling team, our talent comes then it goes. It’s the way it is

 

Aberdeen didnt conceed in 7/8 home games, we put 3 past them. We scored 7 and conceded 3, got 6 points. We have three weeks left to further strengthen. Come October you can start moaning, right now its too early! Seen some good things and seen some bad things. But we are winning and thats all that matters right at this points

 

Just glad to get the win.

Team is in a poor state however.

Good to get the win at a tough venue. Defence is a shambles at times though and Turnbull and ORiley don’t work together.

 

We looks sluggish next Ange for a number of months too.

We haven’t pushed on and added quality to the side and now it’s showing big time for me.

 

Tynecastle, Pittodrie and they shall nit be named are the toughest places we’ll go this season. Hearts and the Sheep have all got stronger in this window, that’ll be up there with as difficult a game we’ll get this season.

A good win and 3 points despite not being at our best. Taylor had a nightmare, Ralston improved in the second half but defensively we are a long way from competing at CL level. Turnbull got his chance on merit but again he has failed to keep the consistency, we looked really unbalanced in midfield until Hatate came on. Thank fully we got the third we we did as it felt like it may slip away from us.
We probably caught Aberdeen at the right time as Robson still needs players in, Robson will have them stronger by the time the Huns go there.
