Not sure if it's just me but feels a bit odd to have no changes to the XI, don't feel like we've had that for a while. Hopefully the slow start last week was rustiness which we've brushed off by now. Strong bench there- was really impressed with Yang when he came on last week so hope to see some more of him today.

Definitely. Would expect an improvement from last week as well. Hopefully score early, settle everyone down and kick on.

    Aye, zero surprises there..

Maybe see Hatate, Yang, Holm, Haksabanovic and Iwata from the bench.

6 weeks ago If you told me we'd be lining up competitively with Hart , Ralston , Taylor and Turnbull in the starting 11 and 1 new signing I would have laughed.

Neither are physical or strong . Turnbull is combative at best, O'Riley is powderpuff.

Turnbull will end up with 15+ goals this season, guaranteed.

Yes, Turnbull did have a good game last week (compared to all the other games where he didn't) however, Hatate is class and should be one of the first names on the team sheet. So, I don't know if there is any truth re him leaving or that Rodgers for some unknown reason just doesn't rate him. If it's the latter then Rogers is not as good a judge of talent than perhaps he thinks he is.

Turnbull has been the better player therefore he deserves the spot.

It’s upto Reo to get back in the team

Why? Hart and Taylor were both first 11 players last year. Ralston would always come in for Johnston when he is not available. And Turnbull was Celtic player of the year before Ange came in, so clearly we all at least used to think he was worthy of a starting slot.

Saying all that, I think this will look nothing like the starting 11 probably a month from now. Turnbull is the one I expect to keep his place, if he keeps up his current form.

Half surprised Turnbull got the nod, these type of games don’t really suit him and we lack pace in the middle with Bull and O’Reilly.

    Anyway, get these * pumped!
