Lawwell haters will be saying this and is it a coincidence after two years of bringing in our players quickly and with lawwell back at the helm as chairman we have went back to slow as * transfers and cheap options apart from the centre half we have brought in but we need more .

You want big signings/CL ready players brought in? Well suck it up and accept the fact that the recruitment team need to play it like a game of chess.

Guy like Mark Lawwell with all his experience and connections overseeing recruitment, and Michael Nicholson who has proved himself a very adept operator....but aye they're deliberately sabotaging their own reputations by sleeping at the wheel. It's hilarious man

 

Couple of genuine questions for you.

We need a minimum 4 or 5 quality players in for us to really reach the minimum required. Do you agree or what's you idea of the minimum required?

Also say we pull of a flurry of signings in the next few weeks it's close to a MONTH after the season starts. Is this acceptable to you?

 

There nae point trying to engage me on this mate, you've made your position crystal clear for weeks and weeks, with your constant whingeing. You crack on with that, I'll continue supporting my club.

Just because you support a team doesn't mean you can't question what the * is going on. You would question this * in any other walk of life so why not your football club?

Bottom line is we've got a superb scouting and recruitment team, who are targeting high quality players. It takes time, regardless of how many tantrums yous want to throw. The * know what they're doing.

And btw, the current squad is good enough for a domestic treble as it is. We're looking to improve it for Europe and I trust them to get it done. I canny * wait for the realisation to set in that yous spent all summer * for * all.

 

92 days.......

For absolute clarity Celtic won the league 92 days ago which guaranteed champions league money. And let's be honest it was 99% won for weeks before that date.

I understand bigger signings take time and don't happen overnight but we have 100% known this long we needed improvements. Let's not even put into the mix us losing Jota or Ange we've had plenty of time to put together a long list never mind a short list of possible targets.

All these happy clappers seem to make it out we've not had very long.

 

So how many players do you personally think we need? It's not a hard question mate.

I don't remember us being promised anything directly after the RC game.
I'm not happy with the window but I am sure we will bring a few players in towards the end. I don't think you can say it's more disappointing than others as it hasn't finished yet

 

Up until now it has been severely disappointing. We still need at least 4 first team ready players and the longer it goes on the more likely it seems that we won't adequately strengthen.

Of course the window will be judged when it shuts but currently it hasn't been anywhere near good enough.

 

It's not, but what does it matter to you? I think we'll be stronger by the end of the window than we were last year. We'll go on to make progress in Europe and win a least a domestic double.

minimum required for what exactly? To win the league, not much? To win a treble, similar. Do well in Europe, hard to say as you could draw Man City, Real Madrid and AC Milan and even if we bought 5 good players in could still struggle.

If we bring in the bare minimum 4 players needed between now and the end of the window.. happy days, they will have done their job.. but your comments are currently based on a hypothetical.

We're going into the second game of the season having not replaced our best player, Starfelt going, mooy retired, Joe Hart is completely done.. we're currently weaker than last season.. not exactly hysteria.

 

So just don’t bother trying to improve in case we get a difficult Champions League group?
